Anaussiemumsdiary : Mum banned from breastfeeding at hair salon We all know how "for" public breastfeeding I am, but it seems to me this has been blown out of proportion. Yes, I wasn't there- but I wouldn't want to feed my child while having a haircut in case the hair went all over him!! Thoughts? - Katrina.

I hate it when people act like breastfeeding is obscene, GET OVER IT! : A member on the wall writes: I will be having my second child in Oct. I bf my first child for only 7 months. It was hard because I would only feed him behind closed doors. So it if I wanted to go anywhere I had to PLAN everything so I would have privacy. I have made up my mind that this time around I am going to feed when baby is hungry no matter where im at. I got in a fight with my family about this decision, and my father told me I need to be more "normal". LOL. I very much appreciate this page, and appreciate that there are women out there that are, what i would call, "normal".

Judgmental Bitches - Moms Gone Wild : All right judgmental bitches. Time for a mini debate. People are hopping on my tits (pun totally intended) and other fans for posting things about breastfeeding saying we are 'bashing' and 'rubbing it in.' No one has said anything offensive or rude about formula just shares and questions about breastfeeding! So trust me we all know about how bitchy breastfeeding moms supposedly are - do you think there's a double standard on the other side too? Could you post a question for me, please? I'd like to remain anonymous. My 3 month old is constipated and since he is my first I'm a little lost at what to do. I've tried a warm bath, rubbing his tummy, 1 tsp prune juice in his 6oz bottle, bicycling his legs and the vibrating seat. Nothing seems to work. My heart hurts for him because he is straining and visibly uncomfortable. His last bm even had a streak of blood. What are some things that have worked for your little ones?

Shannah Janson : Im not against breast feeding in any sort of way and totally agree that as long as your cover up you can do it in public. But why is it necessary to everyday or twice a day take a pic of your baby next to your fully exposed nipple and post it on facebook? The first time was awesome to see your baby doing it.. but now its just attention to your nipple and not the baby. Come on and please keep it private!

Cheryl-Ann Nicholson : I hate when people get offended by breast feeding. It's not disgusting, it's not wrong, & it's not unnatural. If it was unnatural, why would women's breasts fill up with milk after having a baby? If you don't like the fact I'm feeding my baby, then don't look. It's not that hard to just look away. Hi There, I'm returning to work in 6wks and have only just started to express for the freezer. Should have started sooner! My Son is 7wks and we tried the bottle twice yesterday, he took both times, which surprised me big time! But my problem is he is still feeding every 2-2.5hrs, sometimes 3 if I'm very lucky! It took me almost all yesterday just to fill a 200ml bag in between feeds. So I am now very worried I will not have a good supply for his Dad to use when I go back to work. Does anyone have any ideas that may help increase my supply? I'm already trying to express after every feed : (

I'm sorry, but this is just ridiculous and provocative. Why would you *want* to walk around topless? When guys do it, I am just as critical of them. People who do this are doing it for attention, not for gender equality. You really want to fight for the right to walk around half naked? Seems silly. There are better things to spend your time on.

I don't really understand the point. In fact, it's counterproductive, because you're just being objectified (thus HURTING your cause) if you perpetuate this kind of ludicrous behavior.

This Milk Matters: Lactation Support Group : FanVent: I need to air out. I'm so upset. I went out to eat with my husband and his family (mother father brother 2 sisters.) I have my 5 month old EBF daughter and she got hungry at the end. The only ones at the table were his mom and sister which always see me nurse. It's nothing unusual but he got upset because I wanted to feed my daughter. I was gonna get in the little corner and I had an under shirt so hardly no skin will show. I'm so upset. I couldn't believe he reacted that way so I left to the car and fed her and we went home. When he got home he told me what was wrong with me and that if I wanted to show everyone my breast! Uhh what do you do in a situation like this .....?

Belmead Spring Competitive Trail Ride- Actha : Ok people- I am looking for some feed back. NO PROMISES. I wanted that out first- I said I was not going to do another ride. BUT there is a distinct lack of rides. And while I would rather ride- I am thinking about doing another one. BUT if we do it, it would be a No Frills ride. Meaning little to no prizes (if someone offers I am certainly not going to turn them down- lol) But, since it would be my second ride, more miles and more obstacles. I want your input so I can decide if this is anything that people would be interested in. It would be at Belmead, it would have camping available. But probably ONLY lunch will be available for purchase- all other meals on your own.

I am in need of some advice. I am a sahm to my soon to be 10 month old son who has been bf since birth. The time has come where I have to return to work due to finances. Unfortunately I do not have much of a milk supply stashed and until I can get an adequate amount stored, I will need to supplement while he is in daycare. I do not want to give him formula if at all possible, as he has never had formula. I have heard you can give goats milk, coconut milk or almond milk. My question is which is closest to breastmilk in regards to nutrients/calories? And depending on which route I go do I need to dilute it or anything? I would really appreciate any feedback/advice you can give me. TIA and have a blessed day!

Frankie Lynn Earn : my mom is taking this grandma thing to far, your baby cant wear zippers, dont roll her socks, she cant wear bibs, you cant use normal laundry soap on her clothes.. i swear my daughter is going to think shes some high class baby, and shes not i dont think there is anything wrong with washing her clothes in normal laundry soap, my clothes were washed in normal laundry soap..

This Milk Matters: Lactation Support Group : FanQ: Hi. My son is 6 months old. I have a rough time getting anything substantive from pumping. I can't afford the costly pumps, and am using a forty dollar one that only really gets results when I am really full and engorged, which isn't often since I have a snacker. Anyhow, I manage occasionally to fill some baggies of 'liquid freedom' in hopes of being able to leave him with a sitter so I can go out sometimes. But he will not drink from the bottle. I'm not sure why. He will chew the nipple but he will.not suckle it. Advice?
