Lil Wayne : It was never my intention to desecrate the flag of the United States of America. I was shooting a video for a song off my album entitled "God Bless Amerika". The clip that surfaced on the Internet was a camera trick clip that revealed that behind the American Flag was the Hoods of America. In the final edit of the video you will see the flag fall to reveal what is behind it but will never see it on the ground. In most people eyes including my own who were raised in that environment, the Hood is the only America they know and the only America I knew growing up. I was fortunate from my God giving talents to escape the Hood and see the other beautiful places this country has to offer but most people who are born in that environment don't get that chance. That's their view of their America. That was Dwayne M Carter from Hollygrove New Orleans view of America. That's who I'm speaking for in this song.

Considerando la coyuntura actual que llora por 'la difusión de rock peruano en las radios', ¿a quién chucha se le ocurriría hacer un festival de músicos peruanos tocando temas de grupos extranjeros? Para mi, esto significa que la intención de los músicos participantes no es promover la cultura musical local, sino tocar lo que sea únicamente con la intención de ganar dinero. Encima hay músicos que han escrito textos o filmado videos hablando de promover el rock peruano y van a tocar en este festival de covers que COMPLETAMENTE pone en segundo plano la música local ¡Cero compromiso con la movida por el rock peruano CSM! Y no es que, en general, hacer covers esté mal ni nada, pero en Lima existe esta cultura en la que la gran mayoría de bandas de rock son bandas de covers y, pucha, eso NUNCA lo van a fucking pasar en la radio, pues. ¿Un festival ENTERAMENTE dedicado a covers? No jodas. Como si sobrasen festivales de rock peruano. Como si no hubiese originalidad qué difundir, especialmente en esta fucking coyuntura dedicada a promover el rock peruano. ¡Carajo! ¿A quién chucha se le ocurre esta huevada, pues? Si esto es la escena de rock peruana nacional, entonces la escena de rock peruana nacional no merece fucking NADA. Ojalá alguien envenene la chela del Sargento y le de diarrea explosiva a todos los inconscientes que han colaborado, como músicos o audiencia, a esta porquería de mierda. Salud.
