Designer Speaks Out In Fear,
Second Post To New York's Committee On Professional Standards
Albany, NY - May 10, 2013

The following is a copy of the second official complaint sent in to The Committee On Professional Standards involving the alleged theft of $29K and the cruel, intentional and willful joke played against accessory designer Jacquelyn Denise Sheftz, and her mother, involving the alleged wrongful foreclosure and theft of monies, jewelry and personal property.

"Index # 001940/2008 and Index # 001940/2009 Saratoga County, New York
In June 2008, I went to my divorce attorney, John J. LaBoda, Jr., of Saratoga Springs, NY and hired him for the divorce and later to get me back the money that I had paid to former assistant district attorney, David A. Harper, who was the referee in the bogus foreclosure in September 2008. Harper is referenced in letters between divorce attorneys, and also in correspondence attached.  During the remainder of 2008, all of 2009, and into 2010 Harper had the money in his escrow account, but never returned it to me. LaBoda was hired to get me spousal support of at least $1K per week and the $29K back, the latter which he clearly knew about from my meetings with him and through letters between attorneys, phone calls and conversations that he said he had with Harper. LaBoda never pursued the $1K per week spousal support claim, per Judge Nolan's final decision. I pursued the claim separately through my husband's counsel, The Bianchini Law Firm, addressing the issue as I was told to do after contacting the courts, however, my claims and needs were ignored by the court and by The Bianchini Law Firm. LaBoda was also hired to enforce the $486,570.00 mechanic's lien on the property. He never did. After over 14 months, I fired him, then he subsequently asked to be removed from the case. He has refused to give me back the $5,200 he was paid. He also refused to help on the "Exhibit L"/CPI Mortgage Co. check issue that was clearly a crucial piece of evidence in the divorce case. LaBoda and my husband's divorce attorney Milinda J. Reed of The Bianchini Law Firm, 2023 Route 9, Round Lake, NY (Telephone 518-877-5062) always met behind closed doors without my presence. I never got to see the judge in the divorce case or the inside of any court room. Nothing was ever on record. The first time I met with LaBoda in late June 2008, I found it odd that the first words out of his mouth were about my mother and her financial interest as one of the owner's on our home at 46 Timber Trace, Ballston Spa, NY. LaBoda said that he was going to be doing a living will for my mother. I never told him anything about my mother or her interest in the home. Furthermore, LaBoda was strictly hired to get me a legal separation and financial support after almost a 20 year marriage, and also a couple of months later to get me the $29K back and to enforce the lien on the home. After over a year of LaBoda bringing me into his office for monthly, bi-monthly and weekly "chats", I fired him! In April 2012, I finally got some of the pieces of my file back from LaBoda. In a May 6, 2009 letter from Milinda J. Reed of the Bianchini Law Firm to LaBoda, Reed discusses and references the $29K and that Harper has it and doesn't know what to do with it! I only recently received this letter in April 2012 from LaBoda after numerous requests for my file, and after being told that if I continued to call his office I would be arrested for harassment. I met with LaBoda much after the May 6, 2009 letter and he never mentioned receiving it. In this letter, Reed discusses and references, M&T Bank and a "fictitious" Ms. Bruner, Ms. Brunner or Ms. Melissa Brunner of M&T Bank and how I am supposed to be hearing from her and how she is looking for financial information from me! As if I'm going to give her anything after knowing of the missing "Exhibit L" cover-up in Index # 002236/2003 Saratoga County, New York. Furthermore, this so-called Bruner or Brunner woman never, ever contacted me in any way, shape or form whatsoever! The May 6, 2009 letter goes on to discuss a Michael A. Deyo whose phone # in the letter actually goes to Joseph A. Bradley/Tim Bradley of Riley Tax Service, Inc. AKA J. Bradley and Associates, 467 Troy-Schenectady Road, P.O. Box 1093, Latham, NY, with a new address at 468 5th Avenue, Troy, NY, phone 518-783-8492 Fax # 518-783-8468 per the letter, with a home address for Joseph A. Bradley at 33 Willowbrook Terrace, Halfmoon, NY and an alleged Tim Bradley at 14 Roberts Lane, Saratoga Springs, NY. New York corporate records indicate that Riley Tax Service is an active corporation and is registered to a Margaret R. Dunworth, 46 112th St., Troy, NY with DOS ID#532214, since January 10, 1979. Deyo's address is listed as 106B Overlook Pass, Clifton Park, NY. I lived at 103B Overlook Pass, 20 years ago. Deyo's actual address is 441 Stone Church Road, Ballston Spa, NY. Additionally, LaBoda never put forth medical documentation of me being a battered wife to address the constructive abandonment claim by The Bianchini Law Firm, in example, April 12, 2002, my husband, Winthrop E. Snow, kicked me in the back while I was making a bed and broke my tailbone, he then imprisoned me in the home for over six hours and pulled all the phones from the wall while I cried in pain, finally he took me to an urgent care medical clinic. LaBoda never addressed any of these issues or the spousal support I requested. Instead he went along with the divorce lawyers of The Bianchini Law Firm that initiated a fraudulent foreclosure and eviction that left me homeless, despite the blatant, crucial evidence of "Exhibit L". LaBoda was, and still is an "officer of the court", and when that evidence was presented to him, he had a duty and responsibility to act upon it, not to ignore it and not to cover it up along with the rest of the lawyers involved.  In April 2012, I contacted another attorney, Mr. James Trauring at 705 Union Street, Schenectady, NY Phone # 518-370-5515. Trauring was representing me in a hand injury case when I fell in January 2011 at the Roosevelt Hotel and Suites on Route 9 in Saratoga Springs, NY. I was staying there with my mother since I was illegally and wrongfully thrown out of my home at 46 Timber Trace in Ballston Spa, NY as a result of a bogus foreclosure, initiated by The Bianchini Law Firm. Trauring asked me about the divorce case and said it was wrong about what had happened to me. Trauring said I was entitled to receive the spousal support and a lot more, benefits and etc. Trauring said he would take the case and re-open it, based on the fraud and circumstances surrounding the case. Trauring said that LaBoda had to give me back the money that I paid him, so that I could get another attorney. Trauring said he would take the case for $2K. Trauring told me to contact LaBoda and ask for the money and files to be returned to me. I followed Trauring's instructions and repeatedly called LaBoda. I was told by LaBoda's secretary, Caren Carlson, that if I continued to call and request the files and money be returned, I would be arrested. Finally, LaBoda himself called me. I got my file returned to me, but not all of it. LaBoda wanted to know who the attorney was that was going to re-open the case for $2K. I told him it was Trauring. I should have never told him. I made a mistake. A few days later, Trauring called me, he said that he was contacted by LaBoda and that after speaking with LaBoda, he was not going to take the divorce case. After calling the courts, and reviewing files through the New York State Unified Courts, I was informed that the 2009 divorce case was still active.  It was a cruel, malicious, intentional and willful sick joke against me and my mother, which has caused untold losses and personal and physical injuries to both me and my mother.

Some potential good boxing matches again this weekend - Great year of 2013 so far for my favorite spectator sport:

Showtime starting @ 21:00 EDT:

Opening Bouts:

Daniel Jacobs vs. Keenan Collins, 10 rounds, middleweight
Danny Jacobs has a great story, has extremely good skills, and one punch power. Doesn't hurt that he's a great guy with a great smile. I don't expect Keenan to have much of a battle given his record and Danny's skill. Worth watching just to see Danny though. He is one of my favorite prospects coming up right now.

Peter Quillin vs. Fernando Guerrero, 12 rounds, middleweight
Peter Quillin (Kid Chocolote) is never in a bad fight, has an exciting boxer puncher style, and never shies away from a brawl. He is one of my favorite contenders for the title right now (currently held by Sergio Martinez)
Fernando Guerrero (no relation to Robert, to fight Mayweather next weekend), is also never in a bad fight, but that is an understatement. He BRINGS it and will be the come-forward fighter of the card. He is a pressure fighter with good power and a good chin.
Closest fight on this card, but the edge is to KidC due to his power and skill. But, either guy can knock the other out. I think Peter's chin is a bit better, and he's a little less hittable.
This one might steal the show.

Main Event:

Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah, 12 rounds, junior welterweight
DannyG just keeps winning and winning. He's not pretty, but he has power in both hands, a chin that hasn't given out yet, and has an arsenal of subtle skills that makes him very hard to handle.
Zab Judah has long been one of my favorite fighters, and beat Mayweather for the first 4 rounds of their fight before Money May adjusted and took over. Zab has exceptional power, is a south paw, throws at weird angles (with one of the prettiest counter-uppercuts you'll ever see), and for the first half of the fight is very fast-handed (even faster than Money Mayweather). BUT, he fades later in fights, can get frustrated (although I don't think that will be a factor in this fight), and has a suspect chin. He's been knocked out before, down a few times. He's tough, but not as tough as Danny.
I think Danny wins this fight, but he will have his hands full in the first 3-4 rounds - Zab has fight ending power and a killer instinct once he's hurt you, so it is a dangerous fight for both.
Danny also has a killer instinct, so I think this deserves to be the main event due to the experience, skill, and power involved between these two guys.

HBO starting @ 20:30 EDT

Opening Bouts:

Cristobal Arreola vs. Bermane Stiverne
Cris Arreaola is an entertaining heavyweight with great power, but is very inconsistent. He should roll through this guy, but you never know about his preparation, the main knock on him. He is the kind of guy I could easily hang out with and have a beer. He is extremely honest about his performances, an animal in the ring, but a guy you just wanna root for both in the ring and in life. This won't be a pretty fight, but hey, they're heavyweights, what do you want.

Luis Carlos Abregu vs. Antonin Decarie, 12 rounds, welterweight
Abregu fought Tim Bradley on Tim's run-up to fighting Manny, and Abregu lost by a lop-sided UD - Bradley was just too fast, too tough, and too strong for him. He (Abregu) is a B-level fighter, with really good power, a slightly suspect chin, an awkward style, and a bring-it attitude. He is good enough to beat any non-elite fighter on any given day, but has his vulnerabilities.
Decarie is a French Canadian, good but not great power. He is very similar in style with Abregu, but a bit more "classical" in style.
I pick Abregu to win, but it is a toss up since I haven't seen Decarie in but one fight. I give the edge to Abregu on power, toughness, and experience against better opponents.

Main Event:

Sergio Martinez vs. Martin Murray, 12 rounds, middleweight
If you don't know who Sergio Martinez is and what he brings, you probably haven't been watching boxing for a couple years. He is the ring mag middleweight champ, defies his age, has massive KO power in both hands (especially considering that he is a "small" middleweight), is as fast as FMJ, and has a very unorthodox southpaw style that no one seems to be able to figure out and uses his movement as both defense and offense. He has Oscar good looks, and is the kind of guy that is easy to root for.
Martin Murray is a UK boxer, fairly standard and stand up type boxer, a 1-2 type puncher. I have only seen one of his fights in full (highlights of others), so I can't be sure about him or what he brings.
My take:  Sergio will control the distance, have the faster hands, has a ridiculously good chin, and I think Murray is a bit too hittable and not fast enough to "get to" Sergio.
I believe this fight is more a referendum on what the Julio Chavez Jr. fight took out of Sergio. If he struggles against Murray, then fighting a guy 30 pounds heavier took too much out of him. If he outclasses Murray, then Sergio is still the same fighter we know him to be.
