Chapter 7 July 17, 2012          After visiting Sammy in the home, he never understands how he will feel for the woman he once loved. He saw how the strong woman he desired so much           was stacked in her wheelchair. But the beauty is still there. He knows that Sammy never saw it, but it is still hidden in her blue-glass eyes. Those eyes that been buried into wrinkles and dark memories. He never saw how vibrant her eyes anymore. But he still believes that it is still lying there. He saw the pain in it. He saw how hard it is for Sammy. The way she cries that time, the sufferings she had, he never saw it when they broke up. He knows Sammy as the strong woman, but life knocks her down.             The first time he heard about what happened was a month ago. But his busyness never allowed him to go there immediately. But all the things are running in his mind. He always thought that he’d stop loving her. That he’d so done thinking about her. But he never did. He knows it because he never found someone as good as Sammy. Too bad, he breaks her trust. Too bad, he engulfed himself to the temptation of flesh and lust.             He knows then that he can never win his heart again. He knows then that because of his foolish act he lost a strong, young woman in his life. He knows he deserved to grow miserable. To grow old alone. He’d accepted it after what he’d done to Sammy. He regretted it for the rest of his life. But he never understands why Sammy needs to suffer too. A woman with no intention of hurting anyone. He knows Sammy just wanted to be happy and be contended in her life. She already found it. And how dare life take it away from her. He gripped his hand so hard that his nails are hurting his own hands.             “God, damn it!” he shouted. And throw the glass of wine in the wall. It splits into pieces. And splash into the floor.             He already saw the happiness in Sammy’s eyes. And he’s contended in those smiles as he watched Sammy in her wedding dress. He still remembers the pain he felt, seeing how happy the girl he loved. He should be the one waiting her at the end of the altar. He should be the one holding his hands. And saying I do. It’s painful for him, but he already accepted the fact that she will never be his again. *             He was at the near side of the church. He heard the wedding three days ago. And he wants to see Sammy. He wants to confirm that she’s really happy with this man. He wants to see the happiness he once saw in her eyes when they are together. He knows she’s happy, but he want to have that false hope in his heart, that she’s not as happy as he thought he is. He wants to see a side of her sadness in this day, because if he saw a small hint of sorrow he will walk in the altar and get her. That was his plan. He will bring back Sammy again.             When the wedding song starts, he slowly enters in the near side of the church and seated. He didn’t want anyone to see him. Not in this kind of occasion. The entourage begins. Family and friends were all here. Everyone was in awe when the bride came out. Even his jaw dropped. He saw how beautiful Sammy in her white silk wedding gown. Its elegant texture was gorgeous. Sammy face was vibrant. And it shows how happy she is. He would almost break down in pain seeing Sammy that day, as she slowly approaches her groom at the end of the altar. Everyone was happy in Sammy’s wedding, except for him. He longed for the forgiveness of the woman she loved. But it never happened. She never gave her the chance again.             As the ceremony started, he saw the gleefulness in couple’s eyes. It can never be hidden, the love they had for each other. He closes his eyes as he tries to absorb the absurdity of the scene. He wanted to run outside but his feet didn’t moved. As the ceremony leads to telling the vows of couple to each other, it pierces like a knife. He should be the one saying it to Sammy. The word of Sammy’s vows stayed in his mind until this very moment. He wanted to see how she said it to him. He wanted it to be him.             “From this day on, I will love and cherish you. I will never allow any trials to destroy whatever we had right now. I’ll fight for you. I’ll fight for you till the end. Yu are my life. You gave me life. For you I breathe and I die. You are my soul and everything. I will forever love you.” Sammy said happily.  This is the vow that continuously hurting him until now. He accepted the fact that Sammy forgotten him. Because he saw how happy Sammy is in her groom. After seeing her in the wedding, he can’t accept the fact that Sammy is miserable right now because of the man she choose to love. If he never gave up on Sammy, he knows that she will be as happy as he saw her in her wedding. If he never gave up on Sammy, they will be together. It’s his entire fault. All the sufferings Sammy had right now is his to deserve. It’s not fair that she’s the one hurting. He allowed Sammy to be with the man who hurt her. If he only knew that Sammy would end up like this, he never gave her to him. He should never allow things to happen. When you become cross with someone don't give them the "evil eye" Don't be quick to jump to a conclusion about someone who may have a difference of opinion than you. Try to see the world with patience and understanding. Remember that your interaction with people affects their world. Positive energy will have more benefit than energy put forth by speaking with a negative tongue. "Speak little, listen much" As a general rule you should listen more than you speak. Listen to others to find their point of view and learn what you can. "Deosil go by the waxing moon, singing out ye Witches’ Rune." Deosil means sunwise or clockwise. A Waxing Moon is the period when the Moon moves from New Moon to Full Moon. Rune is another word for spell. This is the time to perform spellwork that will bring things to you. "Widdershins go by the waning moon, chanting out ye Baneful Rune." Widdershins means counterclockwise. And the waning moon is the period when the moon is going from Full Moon to New Moon. This is the time to cast spells for things that you wish to banish in your life. Represents the Spring season. The Southern winds are known to bring love and romance. This is celebrated by the Beltaine Sabbat. "When the wind blows from the West, Departed souls will have no rest." Represents the Autumn season. The West Winds are known to bring the departed souls to the Summerlands. This is also celebrated by the Samhain Sabbat. "Nine woods in the Cauldron go, Burn them fast and burn them slow" Nine different types of wood are places in the Beltain fire. Most Wiccans agree that the following are the nine woods used: Birch – represents the Goddess. Oak – represents the God. Rowan – represents the Tree of Life Willow – known as Hecate's tree, represents our journey to the Summerland Hawthorn – represents the Fairy folk and purity Hazel - represents wisdom and learning. Apple - represents love and fertility. Vine - represents joy and its juice is said to cause heightened awareness. Fir - represents immortality and well suited to Beltaine "Elder be the lady's tree, Burn it not or cursed you'll be." The Elder tree is the Goddess's tree. It should never be burned. "When the wheel begins to turn, Let Beltane fire burn." Beltaine falls on May 1st. It is tradition to burn a Beltaine fire on this Sabbat featuring the nine woods detailed above. It is also known as the time where the Goddesses Rule. "When the wheel has turned to Yule, Light the log and the Horned One rules" Yule falls on December 21st. It is known as the time where the Gods Rule. "Heed Ye flower,Bush and Tree, By the Lady, blessed be." As witches we have a responsibility to be nature friendly and to help take care of our environment. "Where the rippling waters go, Cast a stone and truth you'll know." This line refers to water divination, however it applies to all forms of divination. "When Ye have a true need, Hearken not to other's greed." You should only perform magick when there is a need. This makes you think about what your motivation should be when performing magick for yourself and others. "With a fool no season spend, Lest Ye be counted as his friend." Know the people that you choose to spend time with. Choose your friends wisely in life. This also applies to the phrase that you are known by the company that you keep. "Merry meet and merry part, Bright the cheeks and warm the heart." Express that you are happy to see your fellow brothers and sisters and your friends. Don't be afraid to express your love and friendship. "Mind the Threefold Law you should, Three times bad and Three times good." This is the threefold law that whatever you put out in the world, either bad or good, will be returned to you multiplied by three. It goes along with the phrase "what goes around comes around" except we believe it "comes around" multiplied by three. "When misfortune is enow, Wear the blue star on thy brow." The star is the pentacle. This tells us that when we are experiencing trouble we should open our third eye and listen to the Goddess and spirit guides for guidance, resolution and protection. "rue in Love ever be, Lest thy lover's false to thee." A witches vows can never be taken lightly. If you make a vow to your lover be true to your love. If they have been untrue to you this annuls the vow that you took. "Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An it harm none, do what thou wilt." You may not harm yourself or someone else. As long as no harm will be done a witch is allowed to do as they see fit.
