MR T Goes for Sweep Against SKOL VIKINGS

3rd-place MR T (8-4, 1,207.96) goes for the season sweep against 9th-place SKOL VIKINGS (2-10, 758.10) this week. MR T got the win in Week 4, 133.22 to 32.60, behind 27.50 points from DeMarco Murray. According to the most recent projections, it could be a disaster for SKOL VIKINGS with MR T favored to win by the largest margin in the league at 49.88 points.
MR T starts Michael Crabtree (12.50 projected points) and DeMarco Murray (22.40 projected points) in the games today, while SKOL VIKINGS has Dan Bailey (11.00 projected points), Russell Wilson (19.76 projected points), and the Seattle Seahawks DEF (5.00 projected points). All of the other matchups in the league crank up today as well.
MR T has the biggest advantage at the RB position, where DeMarco Murray and Le'Veon Bell are projected to outscore Chris Johnson and Shane Vereen, 37.80 - 11.60. For SKOL VIKINGS to compete, they'll need to capitalize at the K position, where Dan Bailey is expected to score more than Nick Novak, 11.00 - 8.00. MR T has three players (Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and DeMarco Murray) facing a top-10 defense while two more (John Brown and Le'Veon Bell) face a bottom-10-ranked defense. SKOL VIKINGS also has three starters (Chris Johnson, Percy Harvin, and Shane Vereen) going up against a top-10 defense and one (Larry Fitzgerald) against a defense ranked in the bottom 10.
MR T made two pickups since Tuesday, adding Greg Olsen (12.50 projected points) and John Brown (11.20 projected points) while dropping Bobby Rainey (1.80 projected points) and Michael Floyd (4.50 projected points). They've also made some changes to their lineup, starting Le'Veon Bell (15.40 projected points) while benching Jonas Gray (11.60 projected points) and Lamar Miller (12.30 projected points).
SKOL VIKINGS has not made any changes to their lineup. They might want to think about starting Chris Ivory (12.00 projected points) over Chris Johnson (5.10 projected points) and substituting in Mike Wallace (14.20 projected points) for Cordarrelle Patterson (6.10 projected points).

Rivers and LIGHTNING Go for Sweep Against McCoy and Team Royality

8th-place LIGHTNING (6-6, 1,097.94) looks to complete the season sweep of 9th-place Team Royality (4-8, 730.72) this week. LIGHTNING won the meeting in Week 4, 103.42 to 12.80, behind 26.52 points from Matthew Stafford. The most recent projections have LIGHTNING winning this one by 27.98 points, 106.18 - 78.20.
With three players from each team in action, Thursday looks exciting. LIGHTNING starts Michael Crabtree (12.50 projected points), the San Francisco 49ers DEF (4.00 projected points), and Dan Bailey (11.00 projected points), while Team Royality has LeSean McCoy (16.50 projected points), Nick Foles (out), and Matt Prater (8.00 projected points). All of the other matchups in the league kick off today as well.
LIGHTNING has a pronounced advantage at the QB position, where Philip Rivers is projected to outscore Nick Foles, 19.78 - 0.00. LIGHTNING has one player (Philip Rivers) facing a top-10 defense while two more (Rashad Jennings and Le'Veon Bell) face a bottom-10-ranked defense. Team Royality has four starters (including LeSean McCoy and Larry Fitzgerald) facing a bottom-10-ranked defense.
LIGHTNING made one pickup since Tuesday, adding Zach Ertz (probable) while dropping Andrew Quarless (2.90 projected points). They've also made one change to their lineup, starting Le'Veon Bell (15.40 projected points) while benching Jonas Gray (11.60 projected points). They'll still need to fill one empty slot in the lineup. LIGHTNING might consider placing Ertz (10.20 projected points) in the starting lineup to fill their hole at TE and adding the Chicago Bears DEF (7.00 projected points) to start in place of the 49ers D (4.00 projected points).
Team Royality has not made any changes to their lineup, but still has two players with zero projected points. They may consider starting Russell Wilson (19.76 projected points) over Foles (out) and substituting in T.Y. Hilton (14.50 projected points) for Vincent Jackson (6.30 projected points).

Happy Thanksgiving, Diehards. Below are the storylines/ predictions heading into week 13 of the NFL (pt. I):

1. RGIII benched. Colt to start against the Colts. How poetic. That said, no matter whether it's RGIII, Colt "The Real" McCoy or Mark Rypien, expect the Colts to beat the 'Skins.
2. Mark Sanchez & Buttfumblegate come full circle today against the Cowboys. In life, things tend to even out. Sanchez's most embarrassing moment will even out to a great game today. Eagles win behind their usual offensive exploits and a defense that will get enough pressure on Tony Romo to force him into some miscues.
3. Lions vs Bears. If Tigers were involved, that would be a reason to declare "Oh my". Both quarterbacks, Jay Cutler and Matthew Stafford, have made some say "Oh my" this year over their ineptitude at times in throwing the football (22 interceptions between them). So, whichever quarterback is less inept figures to have the advantage in this game. What will help each QB is a running game that is effective. Matt Forte is better than anybody the Lions have. But, the Lions have a better defense. This is a coin flip. I'll take the Lions at home because their defense is better.
3. Seahawks vs 49ers: Talk about a coin flip. Both teams are geared towards running the rock and playing tough, physical defense. The Seahawks have the edge at quarterback with Russell Wilson. The one edge the 49ers have in this game is the motivation to win before they, in, all likelihood, drop one in Seattle during week 15. Expect the 49ers to win at home.
4. Dolphins at Jets: Have a feeling the Jets are going to win today, Historically, the Jets are 50-46-1 against the Fins dating back to the AFL days of the 60s. Coming off getting utterly embarrassed against the Bills and having a chance to play the role of spoiler against the Fins, I think the Jets are going to win this game in a defensive struggle if they can control Ryan Tannehill.

Fangio: Wilson like Barry Sanders with ball in his hand

Kevin Patra
Around the NFL writer
After an afternoon of feasting on turkey and football, we will all settle down to a nightcap featuring the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, bitter rivals facing off in a pivotal matchup that will go miles in determining playoff seeding.

One of the many storylines for Thursday will be how the 49ers are able to slow down the NFL's No. 1 rushing offense, earning 169.6 yards per game. The combination of the beastly Marshawn Lynch and shifty Russell Wilson (leading quarterbacks with 644 yards rushing) makes the Seahawks' read option a devastating weapon.

"They're a tough running game to defend," said San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, per ESPN.com. "They've got Marshawn Lynch, who we all know is, if he's not the best back in the league he's second to somebody, I wouldn't know who that would be. And then you've got (Wilson) back there who could pull the ball at anytime and become a runner himself."

In describing what it will be like for the 49ers to put their own tryptophan-hold on the duo Thanksgiving night, Fangio compared Wilson with a Hall of Famer who used to dazzle on Turkey Day.

"So, it's like defending Lynch and his great running style, and when Wilson has the ball in his hand, he's like defending Barry Sanders with his quickness and speed and elusiveness," Fangio said. "He's a tough assignment. He's got more rushing yards than most of the running backs in the league."

Sure, that comparison is a bit of a silly stretch, but with the 30th ranked passing attack and the No. 1 rushing attack, you can bet the Seahawks will emulate the Lions attack of decades ago, and run the ball a ton on Thanksgiving.

They are digging up that old 1950 and 1960's conversation about stay in the pocket quarterbacks ie Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers , Andrew Luck vs. the athletic mobile quarterbacks ie Cam Newton, Colin Kapernick, Robert Griffith\Griffin 3 (don't know that boy's last name), Russell Wilson. I am not liking it. The stay in the pocket quarterbacks go through their progressions and they are cerebral whereas the mobile quarterback does not, he depends on his athletic skills and does not use his cerebral skills and do not go through his progressions, hence they are not successful.

Excuse the fuck out of me, athletic Russell Wilson and his stupid team did win a Superbowl last year, the year before that athletic Colin Kapernick was a missed past interference call from having a ring. Sure all the stay in the pocket quarterbacks have a Superbowl ring except Andrew Luck. I try very hard and it is getting harder with each passing day not to look at everything in term of race and be suspect but I do live in the de facto race nation, that was the same things they were saying way back when as to why blacks could not play quarterback in the NFl. All the cerebral quarterbacks mentioned that are successful are white and all the "athletic unsuccessful struggling" quarterbacks mentioned are black or bi-racial in essence they are seen as black, okay?

Stop the fucking dumb shit.

Those men who stay in the pocket are much older and did not become world beater soon as they stepped on the field, it took time. They are freaking learning and FYI, Aaron have had a lot of success running out of the pocket, to throw or to get a first down. That is just dumb. I ain't buying none of that shit you are selling.
P.S. Hall of famer Steve Young was one of the most mobile quarterback ever, did he not go through his progressions or did he decided that it was better to take off and run. Maybe there is no where to throw the ball unless you want an interception.
