Between this, the soon to return +Thong Thursday, and a few friends of mine, we've pretty much monopolized the glamour world on here from what I can tell. Now, contrary to what many people think, I am forever checking everything I'm tagged in, and I've seen some of the awesome, nice posts people have shared and said about me, and I've seen the negative as well. I've even read people referring to my pictures as "porn", which always makes me laugh at the ignorance of it all. However, to each their own, and I think we can all healthily coexist on this amazingly broad and forever expanding network. But alot of the post's I'm mentioned in, and keep getting brought up in, are the "Why did my picture get removed when Jessi June's aren't?" So, I wanted to do my best to explain the nudity rules here on G+ to as best as I understand them. First let's address an oh-so-common argument by some butt-hurt people on here. "The nudity in my picture shouldn't matter, my picture is art." You have to love the "...but it's Art" justification. First off, art is no longer a standard governed by rules and principals of the time. These days, anyone can make anything and to themselves, and I'm sure plenty of other people in their taste group, it will be art. Just because you think something is art does not make it so. Just because its black and white doesn't make it art either. And to ask Google to decipher what is and what isn't art is to ask them to define a term too broad to be limited to the tastes of the google staff. Remember, no matter how tasteful the shot, if it has nudity, someone somewhere will think it's porn. Is it right?? Absolutely. They can think whatever they choose, and say whatever they want. Voltaire said it best, "I may not agree with what they have to say, but I will defend to the death their right to say it" Are they correct? 99% of the time, no, they're just being ignorant, but that's their right. So the rule of thumb of G+ pictures I believe to be this: 1) No female nipples (and don't give me that double standard crap. Female nipples are seen as erotic by society, men's aren't, so deal. When society changes, so will G+), 2) No genitalia (This one should be obvious If its a hole below your chin that's not your belly button, save it!) 3) Nothing overtly sexual (I know, another loose interpretation, but really, common sense here. just because her head is blocking his crotch, we all know whats going on, no matter what can't be seen.) Basically, if you can see it in a PG-13 movie, it's cool here. Cleavage, Side-boob, under-boob, over-boob, third-boob, and man-boob are all cool. Also, a bare butt is ok, but no inner crack! Nothing we haven't seen PG-13 movie actresses teasing us with forever. I saw Jennifer Aniston's ass in the break up, and Mila Kunis's ass in Friends with benefits. Both Nice Tush's, and both rated ok for your tween! Now, I don't work for Google, so this isn't Biblical+ law, but it's a pretty safe bet that if you leave out the crotch, the nips, and keep it NSFW lite, they'll be ok with it. Also, remember, and this may be the most important thing of all. You only see what you choose to see on here. "But Jessi, I blocked a girl to stop my 28 year old son who lives in the basement from seeing her offensive pictures of her in a skirt, and someone else shared it to my stream anyways, so that's not true" No, IT IS TRUE! Your choosing to see the person who shared it, who is apparently ok with seeing the content, so your STILL choosing to see it. If you disagree with it, stop following them. It's that simple guys. "But I shouldn't have to stop following someone for one post. Shouldn't the answer just be to not allow it?" NO!! When you have every control over what you see and how you see it, then if they share something you don't like, you have a choice, don't follow them, or deal with it. The person who posted it had no problem with it, Google has no problem with it, and the sharer has no problem with it. So I ask you: where does the problem lie?? If you're looking in the mirror, you are correct sir! Bottom line is this: Never are 100 million+ people going to agree on what's ok and what's not ok. In some parts of the world, I would be killed for the same modeling I get paid for over here. Nipples are ok in Europe, but not in the US. You just can't please uber-conservatives, uber-liberals, and everyone in between at once, so we come to a healthy compromise. Will porn still make it on here?? Oh, sure! You can never completely stop it. And if you choose to go hunting down every purple headed yogurt slinger and sideways smile on G+ to ensure that no child ever be allowed to see that here and force them to go to twitter, good for you! I applaude you! But me? I think we can all agree to leave the crotches, butt-holes, and yes, even the female nips, out of it for now.
