Biographies, which I did two, Bing won but only because the quick knowledge cards I'm used to weren't displayed in the caparison. Flight info was an easy win for Google as it brought up exact info for flights available for my route. Finally I asked both search engines for a conversion from Euro to USD. Bing brought up conversion sites and Google gave me the conversion itself. Google Now/Knowledge Graph is the key. Pointing me exactly to what I'm looking for to answer my core questions that cause me to search in the first place rather than pointing me to a more narrower resource which may or may not have my answer. Some of this is reliant on perspective in what you are really looking for but keep in mind that Google also learns from you, the individual the more you use it. When I'm logged in I barely type anything  before Google realizes what I want whether it be by trend, letters I'm typing, Time of day, Where I'm checked in and soo much more.  Since Google beat Bing they gave me a bottle opener keychain with a flashlight and a $25 gift card if I spend $75 or more in a Microsoft store which are pretty scarce to begin with.
