The main reason why Americans dislike dealing with the Internal Revenue Service is not the bureaucrats’ fault. Congress keeps making the tax code more complex. It is now 4m words long, and has been changed over 4,000 times since 2001. Americans spend 6.1 billion hours a year complying with it. Today’s chart shows the Internal Revenue Service in numbers http://econ.st/19aBhgQ

This announcement by Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt to cap the bills for long term care for the elderly is completely unrealistic. The idea is to cap the astronomical bills from care homes which results into selling their home. From a start it was first

Woolwich attack: Killed man 'in armed forces'!!!!

A man killed in a suspected terrorist attack in south-east London was a member of the armed forces, senior Whitehall sources have confirmed.
Two men spent the night under arrest in hospital as counter-terrorism police investigate the killing in Woolwich.
One man - his hands covered in blood- was filmed by a passer-by, saying he carried out the attack because British soldiers killed Muslims every day.
The PM is to chair a Cobra emergency response committee later.
David Cameron flew back from France yesterday to lead the government response. The meeting will be attended by politicians, the UK's most senior police officer and the new head of MI5.
Meanwhile, security has been increased at barracks across London.

NHS A&E departments 'left unsafe by political meddling' !!

Family doctors are not prepared to shore up an emergency healthcare system left unsafe by "political meddling", a GP leader is to warn.
British Medical Association GP chairman Dr Laurence Buckman is due to point out in a speech the problems that lead to overstretched hospital A&E departments.
He will accuse Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt of being more interested in bashing doctors and spouting "rubbish".
It comes as Mr Hunt prepares to unveil plans for a chief inspector of GPs.
The health secretary will set out the measure in a speech - trailed widely in advance - he is making at the King's Fund in London.
Mr Hunt is expected to paint a picture of dysfunction across the GP sector, saying they are struggling to cope with demand.
He will say: "We've turned GP practices into places where it's a daily challenge for receptionists to cope with huge call volumes and GPs to get through to all the people they need to see."

SAP in autism recruitment drive!!

German software company SAP says it hopes to recruit hundreds of people with autism, saying they have a unique talent for information technology.Continue reading the main story
The firm said that by 2020, 1% of its global workforce of 65,000 employees would be people with autism.
Autism is a developmental disorder that can cause problems with social interaction and physical behaviour.
However, some people with the condition are highly intelligent and have a keen attention to detail.
SAP executive Luisa Delgado said the company believed that "innovation comes from the edges".

She added: "Only by employing people who think differently and spark innovation will SAP be prepared to handle the challenges of the 21st Century."
SAP has already hired six people with autism at its office in Bangalore, India, where they work as software testers.
Nissan has said it plans to recall about 841,000 vehicles worldwide due to a faulty steering wheel.
In the UK, the recall will affect 133,869 models of the Nissan Micra, built between 2002-2006 in Sunderland.
Nissan said that a bolt used in the steering wheel was not screwed on properly, but that there was no danger of sudden failure.
The carmaker said that it will fix the issue by tightening the bolts or replacing steering wheels entirely.
So far, no accidents involving the cars have been reported, Nissan said. But drivers will notice if the steering wheel is getting loose, the company added.
A Nissan spokesperson in the UK said that the repair would take about 15 minutes.
The remainder of the global recall affects the Cube, produced in Japan between 2002-2006. The Cube is not on sale in the UK.
Earlier this month, Nissan recalled 500,000 vehicles globally over a defect in passenger airbags.
