So many fans understand that if they buy the music, the number of international sales increases, and then it is easier for the band to travel overseas and do concerts in your area. A few people don't seem to understand or care about that relationship though, and it is just unfortunate for everyone involved. We're talking about a song that costs less than the price of a cup of coffee, but that you will own forever (unlike coffee I hope). Please consider this before writing, 'Come to Chile', or 'Come to France', or 'Come to (your country here)', on my comments if you've been sharing the song, downloaded the song illegally, or got it without paying.
