On Thursday, May 16th at 5:15 AM the records were broken as only four L8 Enlightenment Agents completed one of the most daring fields to date. Lasting just over three hours, all of Metro Atlanta, Athens and most of North East Georgia was covered in glorious green field. This is their story.  The plan to create a simple field around Atlanta was mired by complexity. On day one we identified our target portals, selecting them for distance rather than convenience in order to maximize our chances of success with minimal participation. To avoid leaks the clandestine operation was kept from all except agents necessary to execute it. If it didn’t fit into other Enlightened agents agenda, or meet their approval, it would undoubtedly be betrayed to the Resistance. Agent Juhs and RushtheAlien, of Athens, are known for their creative field displays around Athens. He had been remotely maintaining a portal in Washington GA and had two of it’s keys. Due to Juhs’ foresight the most important aspect of the planning stage was complete. The ‘Wahington-Wilkes Historical M’ portal was designated as the base planning portal. The other two were located by assessing paths of least resistance to the base portal.  The northern portal was selected to be in Ducktown TN, in trajectory of the base portal without interference. It also contained at least five unclaimed, or severely neglected, portals which increased the odds of receiving at least one key from the town. In preparation Agent SaPer traveled to Ducktown to collect keys. While reconnoitering Ducktown Agent SaPer maintained absolute stealth by only hacking portals and refraining from destroying or deploying resonators to keep out of the watchful eye of the Resistance. At the end of the recon mission two of the five portals had divulged their keys, the four agents met between their home towns of Dahlonega and Athens to exchange the keys that night, in preparation for the operation the next evening. The difficulty was in selecting a southern portal. The fields western link would have to cross through a small clearing made in a complicated web of Resistance fields, and the fields southern link would need to pass unhindered due to our lack of manpower in the area. West Point, a town bordering Alabama and just north of Columbus Georgia was ideal as the launch point for both the western and southern links. Operations were planned for Wednesday night, when Resistance Agents would be least active. The original plan was to launch all three links almost simultaneously. Agent Juhs was to launch from Washington, and Agent BlackhatBrigade and I each one from West Point after deploying and hacking in Ducktown. We needed one more key from either of the two portals in order for the mission to continue. Agent BlackhatBrigade acquired the ‘go’ key on the penultimate hack, while the mission was still on, we had one issue. A long link had been set up the night before that connected Atlanta with Macon Georgia effectively blocking deployment of the southern link. Unless it could be taken down we could not continue. Just before midnight the decision was finally made to launch the Northern Link from Ducktown so that Agents Juhs and RushtheAlien could take down the Resistance link.  Agent Juhs wreaked late night havoc in Atlanta, disguising his surgical strike with a trail of green portals from Athens to Norcross where he decimated the established Resistance Farm. Agents BlackhatBrigade and SaPer headed south from Ducktown into the gauntlet cutting a precise path through the web of links blocking the path of the western link. The tunnel of the gauntlet was to span from Akworth to Douglasville and was the most vulnerable part of the operation. It was at this point, when the activity could attract unwanted attention and the Resistance had the best chance to stop us in our tracks. A single link made across the tunnel would have buried the operation in a prolonged battle. This was almost the case in Douglasville at the southern end of the gauntlet. After hitting one portal in town the Agents moved on to their final target before successfully clearing the path only to notice that a new link had appeared on their scanners. It’s still unclear if the link was placed at that time or had simply failed to render on their intel radar. Without taking a chance they turned around and leveled the entire town to prevent another link and moved on to complete the most dangerous course.  After the tunnel was completed, a smaller ‘safety’ link devised by Agent BlackhatBrigade was made from the southern most portal of the gauntlet far into North Georgia. The safety link was intended to block any Resistance members from closing the gap while we made the hour drive to our final destination in West Point. Once in place we would have had a smooth ride if not for the Resistance Agent announced his presence less than a quarter hour from the southern end of the safety link. Even without realizing its purpose, an enlightened link that long, deep in resistance territory, was bound to attract attention. His presence put our nerves on end throughout the trip until his eastward movement was confirmed.   The night mission was a success. After a quick stop in LaGrange Georgia the 1.5M MU field covering Atlanta and the most populous area in the State of Georgia, was completed. At West Point Georgia, just on the boarder of Alabama the link through the gauntlet and back to Ducktown TN was launched by Agent BlackhatBrigade, and the Southern link completing the field was launched by Agent SaPer. The turbulence of responsibility was crazier than normal. The undying feeling to be reunited with myself. .My cold dreamy daze of a flight would be landing in 8/9 hours. I had become a frequent flyer in the past two years. The bubble most call life , was a frightening reminder of heart break and rejection; two things i wasn't particularly fond of. So i became deeply committed to aerodynamics, the sheer science of it all, the physics, kinetic energy  a bond, a love for chemistry and the formulas involved. I had dedicated two years to my passion, and had crafted planes with swag and perfection. They had taken hundreds of people to their final destination.  As i looked out my window, into the vast darkness the memories came flooding down like a hurricane. Filling my heart with emotion; the good people i met, the places id been, the adventures best spent with the Cozy Heights crew. Some of the best days of my life, with the people id never forget. Then there was him, the break to my heart, the feeling to my sadness, the strings to this [puppet, the root of my pain.  He stood about 6 ft  a nice creamy blend of spice blended with white society and a mind that could stimulate for hours.
