The world did a horrible thing to Him Father because of the heart He had. What can I do in such a world as this? Stand for the truth, even if it means you will suffer for the sake of righteousness. The Lord takes no pleasure in turning away those that He has called out of their sin, but who refuse the invitation because their flesh desires the world more than their spirit desires Him. How hard it is to hear the words "REPENT because you are in SIN!" The world says that You God Almighty has condoned our sin through Your Son. But I cannot believe the lies because like Ezekial prophesied, You do not do evil and sin against man. You do not bring evil, but only judgement of evil men. You are firm and fair. You stand in Your Word like a great watch tower with it`s light shining to the world calling those who seek refuge in their salvation through repentance to You. You are the Lord God Almighty! No sin can stand before You. Your Son gives a sinner like me hope in living to fight the sin within. For as I fight I see the Light from Your tower showing me the narrow path to the gate. I hope in You Lord that on the day I reach the gate, You will say, "I see your heart My child, come be with Me for eternity. Well Done in denying the world and choosing Me." (BKC) Life Application: Ezekiel's solution to the problem of inherited guilt is for each person to have a changed life. This is God's work in us and not something we can do for ourselves. The Holy Spirit does it (Ps 51:10-12). IF WE RENOUNCE OUR LIFE'S DIRECTION OF SIN AND REBELLION AND TURN TO GOD, He will give us a new direction, a new love, and a new power to change. This warning is meant to affect how we live (Rm 14:10, 12; 2Co 5:10; Gl 6:7- 8). Though believers are spared from eternal punishment, there are consequences for ongoing disobedience (Rm 11:22; 1Co 15:2; Col 1:23; Heb 3:14). When people truly repent of their sins, they allow God to take their hearts of stone and, by grace, create a new heart.
