"Did I Stutter?" asks the Statue of Liberty...no, but clearly the fascists in power aren't listening.

Trump has been doing a ton of things while most Americans go to bed (literally in the late night hours)....withdrawing from climate change treaties, firing Sally Yates our Attorney General because she upheld the Constitution. He also replaced Daniel Ragsdale, the acting director of immigration enforcement. One of the likely person referred to in the Christopher Steele dossier, Oleg Erovinkin, has been found dead (not suspicious at all...)

Not sure what it's going to take for every American to get out of their homes and protest and for this dictator to be impeached but I'll be protesting again today. If you live in Chicago, here's the link:

Look into the luxury suite of The Ritz-Carlton-Hotel in Moscow that Donald Trump in November 2013 and Barack Obama in July 2009 checked in 12thJanuary 2017 @ dailymail (UK)

2017 BBC One Documentary President Donald Trump The Kremlin Candidate? (Down Range Film). 20th January 2017. Just a short 30-minute documentary. ORW upload is being worked on.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ritz-Carlton Moskau. Wo Obama schläft. Von Till Bartels am 7. Juli 2009:

Can Donald Trump really be a compromised agent of Russian influence? by Paul Wood, 11th January 2017
During the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, American parents found politics to be a painfully embarrassing subject to discuss in front of their children. The TV news stayed off at dinner time. But even before taking office, Donald Trump has surpassed Bill Clinton. The details of what’s said to have taken place in a Moscow hotel room with a group of prostitutes are lurid enough to damage even someone with Trump’s sexual history. Trump himself has described the allegations as “fake news”. Their significance is that, if true, the President-elect of the United States would be vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians. The CIA believes it “credible” that the Kremlin has such kompromat – or compromising material – on the next US Commander in Chief. At the same time a joint task force, which includes the CIA and the FBI, has been investigating allegations that the Russians may have sent money to Trump’s organisation or his election campaign.
Claims about a Russian blackmail tape were made in one of a series of reports written by a former British intelligence agent. As a member of MI6, he had been posted to the UK’s embassy in Moscow and now runs a consultancy giving advice on doing business in Russia. He spoke to a number of his old contacts in the FSB, the successor to the KGB, paying some of them for information. The Washington political research company that commissioned his report showed it to me during the final week of the election campaign. I did not write about it then, for the very good reason that without out seeing the tape – if it exists – it could not be known if the claims were true. The entire series of reports has now been posted by BuzzFeed so it’s probably only a matter of time before they are common knowledge.
Trump’s supporters say this is a politically-motivated attack. The President-elect, at his much awaited news conference today, came out swinging. “A thing like that should have never been written,” he said, “and certainly should never have been released…sick people put that crap together.” The opposition research firm that commissioned the report had worked first for a superPAC (political action committee) during the Republican primaries. Then during the general election, they were funded by an anonymous Democratic Party supporter. But they are not political hacks – their usual line of work is country analysis and commercial risk assessment, similar to the former MI6 agent’s consultancy.
He, apparently, gave his dossier to the FBI against the firm’s advice. And the former MI6 agent is not the only source for the claim about Russian kompromat on the President-elect. Back in August, a retired spy told me he had been informed of its existence by “the head of an East European intelligence agency”. Later, I used an intermediary to pass some questions to active duty CIA officers dealing with the case file – they would not speak to me directly. I got a message back that there was “more than one tape”, “audio and video”, on “more than one date”, in “more than one place” – in the Ritz Carlton in Moscow and also in Saint Petersburg — and that the material was “of a sexual nature”. The claims of Russian kompromat on Trump were “credible,” the CIA believed. That is why these claims ended up on President Obama’s desk last week, a briefing document also given to Congressional leaders and to Trump himself.
Trump did visit Moscow in November 2013, the date the main tape is supposed to have been made. There is TV footage of him at the Miss Universe contest. Any visitor to a grand hotel in Moscow would be wise to assume that their room comes equipped with hidden cameras and microphones as well as a mini-bar. At his news conference, Trump said he warned his staff when they travelled: “Be very careful, because in your hotel rooms and no matter where you go you’re going to probably have cameras.” So the Russian security services have made obtaining kompromat an art form. One Russian specialist told me that Vladimir Putin himself sometimes says there is kompromat on him – though perhaps he is joking. The specialist went on to tell me that FSB officers are prone to boasting about having tapes on public figures, and to be careful of any statements they might make. A former CIA officer told me he had spoken by phone to a serving FSB officer who talked about the tapes. He concluded: “It’s hoakey as hell.” Mr Trump and his supporters are right to point out that these are unsubstantiated allegations.
But it’s not just sex, it’s money too. The former MI6 agent’s report detailed alleged attempts by the Kremlin to offer Trump lucrative “sweetheart deals” in Russia that would buy his loyalty. Trump turned this down, and indeed has done little real business in Russia. But a joint intelligence and law enforcement task force has been looking at allegations that the Kremlin paid money to his campaign through his associates. On October the 15th, the US secret intelligence court issued a warrant to investigate two Russian banks. This news was given to me by several sources and corroborated by someone I will identify only as a senior member of the US intelligence community. He would never volunteer anything – giving up classified information would be illegal — but he would confirm or deny what I had heard from other sources. “I’m going to write a story that says …,” I would tell him. “I don’t have a problem with that,” he would reply, if my information was accurate. He confirmed the sequence of events …
Last April, the CIA director was shown intelligence that worried him. It was – allegedly — a tape recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into the US presidential campaign. It was passed to the US by one of the Baltic States’ intelligence agencies. The CIA cannot act domestically against American citizens so a joint counter intelligence task force was created. It included six agencies or departments of government: dealing with the domestic, US, side of the inquiry, were the FBI, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Justice; for the foreign and intelligence aspects of the investigation, there were three agencies: the CIA, the Office of the Director on National Intelligence, and the NSA, the National Security Agency, responsible for electronic spying. Lawyers from the National Security Division in the Department of Justice then drew up an application. They took it to the secret US court that deals with intelligence, the FISA court, named after the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They wanted to intercept the electronic records from two Russian banks. Their first application, in June, was rejected outright by the judge. They returned with a more narrowly drawn order in July and were rejected again. Finally, before a new judge, the order was granted, on October the 15th, three weeks before election day.
Neither Trump nor his associates are named in the FISA order, which would only cover foreign citizens or foreign entities, in this case, the Russian banks. But ultimately, the investigation is looking for transfers of money from Russia to the United States, each one, if proved, a felony offence. A lawyer– outside the Department of Justice but familiar with the case – told me that three of Trump’s associates were the subject of the inquiry. “But it’s clear this is about Trump,” he said. I spoke to all three of those identified by this source. All of them emphatically denied any wrongdoing. “Hogwash,” said one. “Bullshit,” said another. Of the two Russian banks, one denied any wrongdoing, while the other did not respond to a request for comment.
The investigation was active going into the election. During that period, the leader of the Democrats in the Senate, Harry Reid, wrote to the director of the FBI, accusing him of holding back “explosive information” about “Trump, his top advisors and the Russian government”. Reid sent his letter after getting an intelligence briefing, along with other senior figures in Congress. Only eight people were present: the chairs and ranking minority members of the House and Senate intelligence committees, and the leaders of the Democratic and Republican parties in Congress, the “gang of eight,” as they are sometimes called. Normally, senior staff attend “gang of eight” intelligence briefings, but not this time. The Congressional leaders were not even allowed to take notes.
In the letter to the FBI director, James Comey, Reid said:
“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government – a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity. The public has a right to know this information. I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public. There is no danger to American interests from releasing it. And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.”
The CIA, FBI, Justice and Treasury all refused to comment when I approached them after hearing about the FISA warrant. It is not clear what will happen to the interagency investigation under President Trump – or even if the taskforce is continuing its work now. The Russians have denied any attempt to influence the President-elect – with either money or a blackmail tape. If it exists, the Russians would hardly give it up, though some hope to encourage a disloyal FSB officer who might want to make some serious money. Before the election,Larry Flynt, publisher of the pornographic magazine Hustler, put up a million dollars for incriminating tape of Trump. Penthouse has now followed with its own offer of a million dollars for the Ritz Carlton tape (if it exists). It is an extraordinary situation, ten days before Mr Trump is sworn into office, but it was foreshadowed during the campaign.
During the final presidential debate, Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump a “puppet” of Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin. “No puppet. No puppet,” Trump interjected, talking over Clinton. “You’re the puppet. No, you’re the puppet.” In a New York Times op-ed in August, the former director of the CIA, Michael Morell, wrote: “In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.” Agent. Puppet – both terms imply some measure of influence or control by Moscow. Michael Hayden, former head of both the CIA and the NSA, simply called Trump a polezni durak, a useful fool. The background to those statements was information held – at the time – within the intelligence community.
Now all Americans have heard the claims. Little more than a week before his inauguration, they will have to decide if their President elect really was being blackmailed by Moscow.

Ex-KGB Chief Thought Dead As Source Of Trump Blackmail Dossier Leak by Grant Stern on 01/29/2017

Western news media is reporting a possible Russian intelligence purge and mole hunt by Vladimir Putin in December, as a response to the “Golden Showers” blackmail dossier CNN and Buzzfeed reported in January.

According to USA Today, Putin has black bagged and arrested three other high-ranking Russian intelligence officials, as well as the head of the top cybersecurity firm in Russia.

This weekend The Telegraph reports that ex-KGB Chief Oleg Erovinkin was found dead in his Lexus after previously being the top subordinate of Putin’s Igor Sechin, an oligarch who runs Russia’s state owned Roseneft oil company.

This story is part of the continued fallout from Buzzfeed’s release of the “Golden Showers” raw intelligence dossier, which has likely sparked the Russian President’s lethal retaliation against one member of his own, inner circle. The Daily Mail reports:

The Kremlin may have covered up the murder of a former KGB chief accused of helping ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele to pull together the notorious dossier on Donald Trump. Oleg Erovinkin served as a general in the KGB and was found dead on Boxing Day in the back of his car in Moscow.

It has been claimed he died of a heart attack, but an expert on Russian security threats believes he was murdered for his role in the explosive dossier. The suspected murder victim was close to former deputy prime minister Igor Sechin, who is named throughout the leaked memo, according to the Telegraph.

What’s interesting about these news reports of Putin’s retaliation, is that they’re all emerging a month after the ex-KGB Chief’s death, and when Putin’s black bag arrests took place, which means that they happened in late-December.

The public revelation of the “Golden Showers” news was released afterward. The Telegraph reported one expert’s blog post linking the dossier to the deceased Ex-KGB Chief:

Christo Grozev, an expert on Russia-related security threats, believes Erovinkin is the key source to whom Mr Steele refers in his dossier. Mr Grozev, of Risk Management Lab, a think tank in Bulgaria said on his blog: “Insiders have described Erovinkin to me alternately as ‘Sechin’s treasurer’ and ‘the go-between between Putin and Sechin’. One thing that everyone seems to agree – both in public and private sources – is that Erovinkin was Sechin’s closest associate.

I have no doubt that at the time Erovinkin died, Mr Putin had Mr Steele’s Trump dossier on his desk. He would – arguably – have known whether the alleged... story is based on fact or fiction. Whichever is true, he would have had a motive to seek – and find the mole... He would have had to conclude that Erovinkin was at least a person of interest.”

News analysis suggests the following; that America’s intelligence agencies may have used the dossier as a Canary Trap, testing the Trump administration’s ability to keep a national security matter secret by handing him a version or several of the classified document and observing the real world responses of those discussed in the trap’s documents.

CNN reported the dossier’s existence first on January 10th.

If Putin reacted to the dossier’s revelation of leaks in his inner circle, and if America’s intelligence agencies did brief Donald Trump in early December, then likely would have shared word with his National Security Advisor Gen. Matt Flynn about the infamous dossier, and perhaps with others.

Flynn’s son was unceremoniously dismissed from the Transition Team, but his association with the official business of hiring the federal government highlights the Trump administration’s inclinations towards nepotism.

In particular, Ret. Gen. Michael Flynn has been reportedly in close contact with the Russian Ambassador, at the same time that President Obama enacted sanctions, and expelled two major diplomatic missions in late-December, and the FBI has listened to those calls, with one division proclaiming them innocent to the Washington Post.

With compartmentalization, it’s impossible to know if the FBI agent who commented is actually on the investigation.

An investigation could target numerous other transition team officials or Trump associates because widespread reports indicated that the Trump team used a private, unsecured telephone to have conversations with world leaders since early November.

Even Russian official state propaganda announced a call between Trump and Putin in mid-November, so one can reasonably conclude that there were not multiple lines of communication between the Transition Team and the Kremlin soon after the election.

On the eve of Trump’s inauguration, six federal agencies - including the FBI and CIA - announced with anonymity to the New York Times that they were listening to intercepted communications.

They named three obvious Trump regime players with Russian ties in a media leak intended to protect their investigation from being ordered closed by one of its targets.

The New York Times report from those agencies revealed the outlines of their plainly massive investigation but is a safe assumption as any that the real targets - in this case, potentially Ret. Gen. Flynn, who is the single person most responsible for managing Trump’s Russia relationship identified by the media to date - would not be publicly fingered.

In fact, one might infer that Flynn may have been intentionally omitted or comments made in the opposit, for the sake of making he or others being closely watched by law enforcement and intelligence agencies to feel even more secure to act.

It is important to note too, that Trump himself is not legally immune in any way for any of his acts before assuming the office of President, nor is he exempt from criminal law violations if he commits a crime while in office.

Trump’s transition team very publicly end-ran official channels to hold their direct, high-level foreign diplomatic discussions.

A federal law called the Logan Act prohibits private citizens from conducting foreign affairs, a category of people which includes the legally meaningless title of President-elect.

There was nothing legally stopping the FBI claiming probable cause, and obtaining a warrant from the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in secret, and then listening to those phone calls between foreign leaders - many in countries where Donald Trump holds conflicting business interests - the man who would lead America against all enemies foreign and domestic, with a man who spent two months obsessively sending love tweets to V. Putin before being sworn in as President.

The revelations of Putin’s retaliation against his inner circle are a key sign in the ongoing war of spies between Russia and the United States, which might indirectly validate the contents of the “Golden Showers” dossier, and could give further clues to the true nature and depth of Donald Trump’s extensive ties to the Russian regime.

Russia Must be Destroyed: John McCain and the Case of the Dodgy Dossier

by John Wight

Delanda est Cathargo (in English “Carthage must be destroyed”) are words that come down to us from ancient history. They were spoken by the famed Roman soldier, statesman and orator Cato the Elder, and have never been more relevant than now, today.

The Rome of our time is Washington, Russia is Carthage, and today’s Cato the Elder is US Senator John McCain, whose quest for conflict with Russia is unbounded. Indeed, for Mr McCain the belief that Russia must be destroyed has been elevated to the status of a self evident and received truth.

Origins of the ‘dodgy dossier’

It was McCain who passed the ‘dodgy dossier’ on Trump to the FBI, after receiving it from former UK ambassador to Russia, Sir Andrew Wood. Contained within the dossier is information purporting to reveal how Trump has been compromised by Russian intelligence over various sexual encounters with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room. Compounding the scandal, adding to the lurid nature of it, are reports of the existence of a second Russian dossier on the president-elect.

The dossier’s originator has been revealed as former British MI6 intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who now runs a private intelligence company and has, according to reports, gone into hiding in the UK, supposedly fearing assassination by Russian agents.

The fact that Mr Steele hasn’t set foot in Russia for a number of years and reportedly, on behalf of Trump’s enemies within the Republican Party establishment, paid for the information contained in the 35-page dossier, recently released with the caveat that its contents cannot be verified, should have been more than enough to have it instantly dismissed as, well, fake news?

In his most recent article on the dossier for the UK’s Independent website, Patrick Cockburn writes, “I read the text of the dossier on Donald Trump’s alleged dirty dealings with a scepticism that soon turned into complete disbelief,” prior to observing how, “In its determination to damage Trump, the US press corps has been happy to suspend disbelief in this dubious document.”

Convenient timing of the dossier’s appearance

More significant than the fact this dossier was not immediately dismissed is the timing of its emergence and subsequent publication by the US news site, Buzz Feed. It comes on the very cusp of president-elect Donald Trump’s official inauguration as the 45th President of the United States on January 20th, and the very point at which his cabinet appointees were being grilled over their views of Russia, the threat Russia allegedly poses to the US and the West, during their official Senate confirmation hearings.

A political coup against Trump is underway

By now most people are aware, or at least should be, of Washington long and ignoble history when it comes to fomenting, planning, supporting, and funding political and military coups around the world – in Central and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and elsewhere the CIA and other US agencies have brought down countless leaders and governments that have refused to toe the line when it comes to serving US interests.

In unprecedented fashion, what we have in this instance are those same deep state actors, working in conjunction with the US liberal establishment, currently engaged in a coup designed to destroy the Trump presidency – if not before it begins then certainly soon after, with the prospect of impeachment proceedings against him already being mooted in Washington circles.

During his recent press conference, Trump felt minded to declaim against Washington’s bloated intelligence community, accusing it of releasing the dossier to the media, an allegation US intelligence chiefs have denied. The result is an unprecedented open war between the country’s next president and his soon-to-be intelligence services that has pitched the country into a political crisis that grows deeper by the day.

Russia’s demonization

On the question of why the US deep state and Washington’s liberal establishment is so intent on maintaining Russia in the role of deadly enemy, the answer is very simple – money.

Huge and powerful economic and ideological interests are tied up in the new cold war of the past few years. We’re talking the country’s previously mentioned gargantuan defense and intelligence budgets, continuing US support and financing of NATO, along with reason for the continued existence and funding of the vast network of political think tanks in Washington and throughout the West, all of which are committed to sustaining a status quo of US hegemony and unipolarity.

Russia’s emergence as a strategic counterweight to the West in recent years has and continues to challenge this hitherto uncontested hegemony emanating from Washington, providing lucrative opportunities for organizations, groups, and individuals with a vested interest in the resulting new cold war. For those of a sceptical persuasion in this regard, I refer you to the chilling warning issued by former US President Dwight D Eisenhower prior to leaving office in 1960 to make way for his replacement, John F Kennedy.

Don’t fuck with the military industrial complex

In his televised farewell address to the American people in 1961, Eisenhower said, “we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.”

He continued, “This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.”

Finally, Eisenhower warned the American people how “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”

Though neoconservatives may no longer be in the driving seat in Washington, neoconservative ideas undoubtedly are. And prime among them is the idea that not only must Russia be destroyed but also anyone who would dare stand in the way of this narrative, up to and including President-elect Donald J Trump.

From Cold to “Hot War”? Operation Barbarossa II: US Military Buildup in Eastern Europe, The Yanks In Their Armoured Parade

I stated some months ago, while assembling a criminal dossier against the NATO powers for the ultimate war crime of aggression, that the build-up of NATO forces in Eastern Europe, particularly American, concentrated on the Baltic states and Ukraine, presaged hybrid war operations against Russia leading to a general war. This build up of forces and ancillary developments I termed Operation Barbarossa II in light of the remarkable similarities to the build up of forces by Nazi Germany for the invasion of the USSR in 1941 which the Germans code-named Operation Barbarossa. Events have only confirmed my views.

The degradation of American democracy continues before our eyes with the incessant hysterical allegations against Russia generally and the manipulation of Donald Trump as a device to put out even more sensational allegations, a campaign which serves two purposes; the first, to build up anti-Russian feeling in the west to war levels by accusing Russia of cyber attacks and attacks on “democracy,” the second to either justify the removal of Trump as a factor in the presidency or to force him to toe the line of the war faction and drop any conciliatory rhetoric towards Russia.

It appears that this strategy is working. At his recent press conference Trump not only adopted the “Russia did it” theme but went further and stated that if people thought Hilary Clinton was going to be tough on Russia, they would soon see that he will be tougher than she ever could be. The hopes by some in the United States that Trump was going to open a new policy of dialogue with Russia have been completely shattered. But this should have been no surprise with his immediate insult to China the day after his election and with his cabinet choices and their various testimonies before Congress the past days, as they are vetted for their posts, that show his administration will use war to dominate the world just as enthusiastically as the outgoing administration.

Trump has said that it is better to have good relations with Russia and that only fools would reject that idea. But this statement is part of the general line that if Russia does not do what the US dictates then, of course, force will be used instead. On the PBS Newshour on Thursday July 12 a “former” senior CIA officer, when asked whether Trump had a point in wanting good relations with Russia, laughed and said, “The United States should not look for good relations with any country. We should strive for one thing only, the advancement of American national interests, and if diplomacy does not work then coercion must be used.” This is the talk of gangsters.

The world is fatigued with the circus that is the struggle for power taking place between the ruling factions in the United States. There is clearly little to separate these factions ideologically regarding foreign policy and very little regarding domestic policy. It’s just a gang war.

The use of lurid allegations against Trump to portray him as not only a willing dupe of Russia but also a target of blackmail, which allegations appear to originate with a “former” senior MI6 agent named Christopher Steele, smacks of the MI5 and MI6 plot to bring down British Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the 1970s, as they had brought down the Labour government in 1924 with the production and distribution in the press of a forged letter from Zinoviev to the British Communist Party calling for a mass insurrection in Britain. In Wilson’s case too, forged documents were put out by MI5 and MI6 with the help of the CIA, through a compliant media, to smear him as a Russian agent and he later stated that he knew of two planned military coups against him. John Kennedy was assassinated in the coup d’état of 1963 in a poisonous atmosphere generated by allegations he was “soft on communism,” that is, once again, the Russians.

Frankly, whether Trump is ousted in a coup, or by impeachment later, as the Washington Post suggested could happen, or is allowed to stay in office as a compliant front man as the other presidents have been since Kennedy was murdered, matters not; the result is the same, the continuation of a permanent war regime in the United States, that lives for, by and through a permanent state of war. The American people were brainwashed into tolerating and accepting the coup of 1963 and it would hardly be surprising if another one is carried out and tolerated when intelligence agencies, political enemies, the media and Hollywood celebrities are openly calling for a coup to be staged. Democracy? The vote? Who cares? Civil unrest? A price to pay. The result is that the preparations for war continue, and are amplified by the Trump election, which the intelligence services are using to intensify the propaganda attack on Russia and President Putin.

Meanwhile, as the media and Obama regime keep the people off-balance with the Trump scandal US military forces continue their deployments against Russia and China. The machine is in motion. In Europe the Americans have just added to the pressure on Russia with the placement of the 3rd Armoured Brigade in Poland, right on Russia’s doorstep, which Russia rightly considers a threat to its security. This is a unit that was involved as an assault force in the Normandy landings in 1944 and was used to invade Iraq in 2003. The unit is noted for its speed of attack. These forces will fan out from Poland to cover a wide front from Estonia and Latvia to Romania with tank, artillery and armoured mobile infantry units. These are not garrison or occupation troops, these are assault troops.

US Army General Scaparrotti, commander of US forces in Europe and NATO supreme allied commander in Europe, stated that the movement of this force to Poland “marks a significant moment in European deterrence and defence.” He stated,

“The European infrastructure and integrated support has enabled our forces to rapidly be ready and postured should they need to deter Russian aggression.”

Since there is no Russian “aggression” and since the Americans are continually stating that they expect Russia to engage in hybrid, that is unconventional warfare against Eastern Europe, we can be sure that these forces themselves and their specialised units will engage in false flag attacks and provocations to make it look like Russia is taking hostile action to justify the use against Russia of these and allied European forces. It is just a matter of time unless a diplomatic breakthrough occurs which appears highly unlikely, despite Russia’s diligent efforts.

At the same time it was reported on Friday the 13th that Trump’s appointed foreign minister. Mr. Tillerson stated to Congress on the 11th of January, that the US should deny Beijing access to its islands in the South China Sea. China state media responded that any such attempt would lead to large-scale war. Yet, on January 5th, just a few days before Tillerson’s statement the Pentagon announced that “ships and units from the USS Carrier Carl Vinson strike group will soon depart San Diego for the western Pacific” where US strategic B1 and B2 bombers have already been deployed on Guam, capable of carrying nuclear armed cruise missiles.

And lastly, on the propaganda front, the recent illegal seizure of investigatory material by Dutch police from Dutch journalists returning from Donetsk once again adds to the evidence that the shoot down of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 with 298 people on board in July 2014 was an action of the Kiev regime with US knowledge. I recently stated in an essay on that subject that it was a Kiev military jet that shot down the airliner, and referred to a Sukhoi 25 being used but I since been shown evidence that it was in fact a Kiev Mig-29 that was used. In any event, the NATO powers have colluded in covering up this fact in order to keep up their propaganda the Russia was behind it.

The situation is grave and the doomsday clock must be knocking on the door of midnight. Many of us have called for the anti-war and peace movements to mobilise but they are nowhere to be seen. Many of them, especially in the United States have been co-opted into supporting these wars, and the left, that is supposed to be against imperialist wars, whether the hard or the soft left, appears to be too weak to make itself felt. It seems there are too few of us in the west any more who give a damn.

But we better act now and make people give a damn or else it will be too late because as my friend, Harold Pinter, so well put it to me once at dinner in London, the world is faced with a people in love with themselves who don’t seem to care about anything or anybody except themselves and think they can commit any crime and get away with it. I can’t express the disgust so well as Harold did in a poem he once sent me that he found difficult to get published, one of several, but which is now in a short collection of his poems called War. Perhaps if there were more like him, more poems like this, read widely enough, more voices speaking out, people would react, wake up, stiffen up, get back their sense of decency and backbone. I don’t know. But I offer it to you here in the hope, perhaps naïve, that it has an effect.

God Bless America

Here they go again,

The Yanks in their armoured parade…

Confirmed: “Unknown” Republican, Democrat Paid For Forged “Trump Dossier”

New
CIA-trump

Having learned previously both the identity of the former British intelligence officer who compiled the “Trump dossier”, revealed by the WSJ earlier this week as former MI-6 staffer Christopher Steele, currently director of London-based Orbis Business Intelligence, and that John McCain was the person who delivered the report to the FBI, one question remained: who commissioned the original report meant to uncover a material,i.e., campaign-ending, weakness in Donald Trump’s past.

We now have an answer, or least a partial one. But first, a brief detour into just how Steele allegedly went about compiling his data.

In a report in Mother Jones, David Corn, who first broke the story that a former Western counterintelligence official had sent memos to the FBI with troubling allegations related to Donald Trump, writes about Steele’s experience shortly after being retained in June by a “private research firm” to look into Trump’s activity in Europe and Russia. Steele recalls that “It started off as a fairly general inquiry.” One question for him, he said, was, “Are there business ties in Russia?”

Corn then writes that the former intelligence official went to work and contacted his network of sources in Russia and elsewhere.

He soon received what he called “hair-raising” information. His sources told him, he said, that Trump had been “sexually compromised” by Russian intelligence in 2013 (when Trump was in Moscow for the Miss Universe contest) or earlier and that there was an “established exchange of information between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin of mutual benefit.” He noted he was “shocked” by these allegations. By the end of June, he was sending reports of what he was finding to the American firm.

The former spy said he soon decided the information he was receiving was “sufficiently serious” for him to forward it to contacts he had at the FBI. He did this, he said, without permission from the American firm that had hired him. “This was an extraordinary situation,” he remarked.

Corn writes that the FBI’s response to Steele’s information, was “shock and horror.”

After a few weeks, the bureau asked him for information on his sources and their reliability and on how he had obtained his reports. He was also asked to continue to send copies of his subsequent reports to the bureau. These reports were not written, he noted, as finished work products; they were updates on what he was learning from his various sources. But he said, “My track record as a professional is second to no one.”

Perhaps, although it does not explain either why the FBI took no action when presented with this “hair-raising”, “shocking” information, despite his “track record as second to none”, nor why McCain had possession of the document, and then also supposedly handed it off to the FBI. Steele told Corn that he “believed this material was important, and he was unsure how the FBI was handling it. Certainly, there had been no public signs that the FBI was investigating these allegations. (The FBI at the time refused to tell me if it had received the memos or if it was examining the allegations.)”

Maybe the reason why the FBI had taken no action is because they knew data was fake, and that Steele himself was the subject of a hoax, one either perpetrated by 4Chan as the message board has claimed, or he was the victim of a counter-disinformation campaign by Russian “sources” (yes, Russian spies don’t always tell the truth to UK spies) who meant to discredit Steele by providing him with purposefully wrong material.

Corn then tries to further validate the credibility of his source: “A senior US administration official told me that he had worked with the onetime spook and that the former spy had an established and respected track record of providing US government agencies with accurate and valuable information about sensitive national security matters. “He is a credible source who has provided information to the US government for a long time, which senior officials have found to be highly credible,” this US official said.” Yet he himself also admits that “I also was able to review the memos the former spy had written, and I quoted a few key portions in my article. I did not report the specific allegations—especially the lurid allegations about Trump’s personal behavior—because they could not be confirmed.”

So if the actual underlying allegations – the very basis of the report – could not be confirmed, what if any was the story? This is how Corn spins it:

The newsworthy story at this point was that a credible intelligence official had provided information to the FBI alleging Moscow had tried to cultivate and compromise a presidential candidate. And the issue at hand—at a time when the FBI was publicly disclosing information about its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s handling of her email at the State Department—was whether the FBI had thoroughly investigated these allegations related to Russia and Trump. I also didn’t post the memos, as BuzzFeed did this week, because the documents contained information about the former spy’s sources that could place these people at risk.

That’s not the end of it: now that his identity has been revealed, there is little downside to pushing forward, and Steele now says that “these allegations deserved a “substantial inquiry” within the FBI. Yet so far, the FBI has not yet said whether such an investigation has been conducted. As the former spy said to me, “The story has to come out.”

Of course, the implied allegation is that Trump, was not only controlled by Putin due to the “kompromat” the Russian secret services had on him, but was also being protected by the FBI, which withheld this “shocking” report from the public.

There is just one problem. Others had it too… and here we go back to the original question: who commissioned the anti-Trump report in the first place?

Curiously, according to Steele, this spy whose “track record is second to none”, has no idea. Says Corn, “the former spy said he was never told the identity of the client.”

Well, that’s not exactly true. He does know that the private research firm from the US “was conducting a Trump opposition research project that was first financed by a Republican source until the funding switched to a Democratic one.”

In other words, while Steele didn’t know the identity of the actual source of funds, he did know their ideological leanings.

However, someone who did seem to know the identity emerged on Wednesday, when BBC News’ Paul Wood reported that “the opposition research firm that commissioned the report had worked first for a superpac – political action committee – supporting Jeb Bush during the Republican primaries.”

The interview in which the Jed Bush connection emerged, was the following, in which Ted Malloch, a Trump insider, said the following:

Let me tell you what the British intelligence told me this morning. [Christopher Steele] was also an FBI asset at one point in time so he has an intelligence background, but he was paid for people that were working for Jeb Bush in order to discredit him. The democrats took over the contract. He kept adding to the dossier and using information given to him by the FSB in Russia, most of it fabricated, the more he put into the dossier, the more he got paid. So e made a sensationalist dossier, as fat as possible just like your lawyer charges you more billable hours in order to get paid more.

Almost as soon as the BBC report and interview hit, Charlie Spies, an attorney for Right to Rise USA, which had supported Bush’s presidential candidacy, disputed it. “Right to Rise categorically denies the BBC reporter’s made up report and will be demanding that he retract the made up allegation,” Spies told TPM. “Other than enjoying James Bond movies, the PAC had nothing to do with British Intelligence officers.” He also proceeded with a rejection on Twitter.

The head of the PAC, Mike Murphy, also tweeted a denial:

Naturally, good luck proving either side of the allegations.

As the WSJ explained in its initial report, “no presidential campaigns or super PACs reported payments to Orbis in their required Federal Election Commission filings. But several super PACs over the course of the campaign reported that they paid limited liability companies, whose ultimate owners may be difficult or impossible to discern.”

Just as was intended, and surely no self-respecting spy would allow a SuperPac to pay him directly… or for that matter publicly.

So where do we stand now?

After a series of back and forths, Jeb Bush has been accused of funding the report, with his own SuperPAC immediately denying it, as it would of course, since there is no definitive evidence (yet?) of Bush’s involvement.

However, courtesy of Corn’s report, who is writing on behalf of Steele, we do know without dispute, that “the American firm was conducting a Trump opposition research project that was first financed by a Republican source until the funding switched to a Democratic one.”

And all this happened after a British spy was being worked by the FSB, who provided him with fake intel, including the glorious Golden Shower scene (hopefully the impact of 4Chan will eventually emerge somewhere here) to stuff the report, and ask for even more cash from his client; a report which was so incredibly not even the FBI could do anything with it.

Could the Republican source have been Jeb Bush? Certainly: after all, the Republican funding stopped at one point – perhaps when Jeb dropped out of the primary – only to be replaced with a Democrat source. Incidentally, we also have very good sense of who the “Democratic source” funding Steele’s research may have been.

We are confident we will know more soon. After all, none other than Trump earlier today promised his own Russia hacking report in 90 days when he lashed out at “sleazebag” Democrats and Republicans.

But the real point here is not who is behind it, but who had this report before it was finally released by Buzzfeed on Monday. And according to the latest information, not only the FBI, but also at least one Republican and one Democrat source had it. And yet nobody went public with it to “crush” the Trump campaign; instead the best “compromising” thing that could be dug up was the tape of Trump “grabbing women by the pussy.”

It goes without saying that if there was indeed some Trump-crushing fact in the report, it would have emerged long ago, and if not by the FBI, then certainly by Trump’s immediate competitors, both Republican and Democrat… unless they too were “compromised” by Russia.

Which is why, no matter how this story ends, it should be clear by now that nothing contained in the “Trump report” was in any way actionable, or else it would have seen the light of day long ago.

Good soldiers, but sent on a bad mission

Remember this guy, the first clown that was made NATO cmdr?

[ Editor’s note: Christopher Black has been on the front lines of the abusive use of military forces as a tool for special interests, where declassification of past conflicts has revealed a steady stream of manufactured threats as tools for ulterior motives.

As I had editorialized a few years back when Obama had signaled his desire to bring the Iran conflict to a peaceful resolution while kicking off his Asia pivot, the Russian bear hype would also be cranked up as an added threat hype replacement.

This showed us that Iran was used as the goat for a missile shield we intended for Russia all along, to enhance the US “first strike” doctrine the NeoCons branded us with. What Russia had claimed all along had been true, as to who was the real aggressor in our relationship.

The American people, and all of its defense and security trade groups did not protest one word when the hoax of defending Europe from nuclear missile strikes from the mad mullahs was finally exposed. In fact, most went along with the new hoax without missing a beat.

Our Founding Fathers had warned early on that, to preserve the republic, we would have to keep ourselves very well informed as to what our government was really doing. We have been poor stewards. Other than the Vietnam War and WWI, Americans swallowed what they were fed and regurgitated that to their children.

Many of us who labor here at VT were self-taught on a lot of this, what really happened, and why; and we wish we had learned sooner. So we labor to spread the word of beware the government, and not even military spokesmen, as they can be strangers to the truth… Jim W. Dean ]

NATO forward deployment toward a Russia with not force project capability beyond its border area

The degradation of American democracy continues before our eyes with the incessant hysterical allegations against Russia generally and the manipulation of Donald Trump as a device to put out even more sensational allegations, a campaign which serves two purposes.

The first was to build up anti-Russian feeling in the west to war levels by accusing Russia of cyber attacks and attacks on “democracy,” the second to either justify the removal of Trump as a factor in the presidency or to force him to toe the line of the war faction and drop any conciliatory rhetoric towards Russia.

“Believe me, I would not tell a lie”

It appears that this strategy is working. At his recent press conference Trump not only adopted the “Russia did it” theme but went further and stated that if people thought Hilary Clinton was going to be tough on Russia, they would soon see that he will be tougher than she ever could be.

The hopes by some in the United States that Trump was going to open a new policy of dialogue with Russia have been completely shattered.

Finally a photo emerges of Christopher Steele

The use of lurid allegations against Trump to portray him as not only a willing dupe of Russia but also a target of blackmail, which allegations appear to originate with a “former” senior MI6 agent named Christopher Steele.

This smacks of the MI5 and MI6 plot to bring down British Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the 1970s, as they had brought down the Labour government in 1924 with the production and distribution in the press of a forged letter from Zinoviev to the British Communist Party calling for a mass insurrection in Britain.

Will a new 9-11 type attack be staged in Eastern Europe to frame a bigger target than last time?

Since there is no Russian “aggression” and since the Americans are continually stating that they expect Russia to engage in hybrid, that is unconventional warfare against Eastern Europe, we can be sure that these forces themselves and their specialised units will engage in false flag attacks and provocations to make it look like Russia is taking hostile action to justify the use against Russia of these and allied European forces.

NEO – Yellow Journalism Morphs into Yellow Government

By Jim W. Dean, Managing Editor on January 19, 2017

“There is beauty in truth, even if it’s painful. Those who lie, twist life so that it looks tasty to the lazy, brilliant to the ignorant, and powerful to the weak" -- Jose N. Harris

by Jim W. Dean, VT Editor … with New Eastern Outlook, Moscow

Finally a photo emerges of Christopher Steele

[ Note: I had to use this feature image for the lunacy of all it. Hillary and her DNC insiders hacked the crap out of Bernie, which the Wikileaks showed us all, and Donna Brazile subsequently left the planet.

Maybe she took the same spaceship as the ex-MI6 Trump dossier agent, Christopher Steele, whose sources are highly suspected of being primarily anti-Putin opposition people, as working with those folks would have been his job when on the MI6 payroll.

Bernie, the good soldier, did not gut her back. This was followed by the Dems being victims of a hack themselves, which many viewed as poetic justice from the Angels. Maybe whoever did it wanted the voters to be informed, something out Founding Fathers warned us would be critical to preserving what they had given us.

Act Three involved Putin being fingered for “interfering in our Democratic process”, when the US holds the world record for having done that to more countries that anyone can count, with the number one victim being Syria; yet, few Dems or Republicans seem bothered by Syria having been “hacked” by the Western and Gulf State proxy terror campaign.

Do you think the US would have been doing anything less if the tables had been turned… like running a full blown covert operation to discredit the Putin regime, or maybe, heaven forbid, running a proxy terror war in Chechnya like we did? Putin took that real cool. He won that brutal war. That was his payback.

Does anyone remember the Russians responding with a similar terror war here in the States? Was Russia charged with 9-11?… and did I miss that somehow — the ET boys maybe erasing that part of my memory banks, and yours, too?

You all know what I am going to say now. “You just can’t make this stuff up.” …JD ]

____________

– First published January 19, 2017 –

The Theater of the Absurd continued this past week as a three ring circus. Corporate media pretends it has not been outed as the alter ego of Wikileaks, where it is now exposed as the Fort Knox of Fake News. The last gasp was Aleppo, where all the Western media massacre lies came tumbling down like the walls of Jericho.

General Mattis for the Pentagon

Those most guilty are now throwing the Fake News term around at everyone in Alternate media so they can escape from their own sins in all the confusion. The play there is that if everybody does it, then no one takes the big hit for doing it. It is our job as journalists, editors, private Intel and independent publishers to now make sure they do not get away with it.

The public faith in the integrity of media was already low, but I can’t wait to see the new polls for 2017. Unfortunately the low public trust ratings have not really changed anything.

No media heads have resigned and we have had no strikes, reporter walk-outs, or open letters signed by the deans of the nation’s journalism schools, and I don’t expect any. Color me disappointed.

This public “faking it disease” has shown up in the Senate hearings for Trump’s top administration people last week. The Left is showing it is still taking drugs, and in full theater mode, using actors hired to dress up as Ku Klux Klansmen and be carried out of the hearing on Senator Session’s confirmation for Attorney General. And yes, the KKK imposters got lots of photos and news coverage, an old form of fake news.

The word seems to have gone out that General Mattis would prefer not to be referred to by his military nickname “mad-dog” any more, and I can sympathize with the man. He put on an odd hearing performance, where he feigned opposition to Trump’s foreign policy with this surprise, “I would consider the principle threats to start with Russia.” The problem with that is the Secretary of Defense does not make policy. He carries it out, and if he doesn’t want to, he resigns. The general and the Senators all knew this.

Mattis wants to get confirmed, but he has an extra hurdle to obtain the waiver for his under seven year waiting period before re-entering government service. So he schmoozed the Senators with his claim that the New World Order was “under its biggest attack since World War II, from Russia, terrorist groups, and China’s actions in the South China Sea.”

This statement was “Yellow Government” at its worst. With these choice words the General brushed aside the Cuban missile crisis, the Vietnam War, several Mideast wars with Israel, the USS Liberty, and so much more.

He ignored all the tremendous arms agreement progress we had made with Ronald Reagan, especially in nuclear weapons, until George Bush (43) took the US out of the Anti-ballistic missile treaty in 2001. Bush said then, “My decision to withdraw from the treaty will not, in any way, undermine our new relationship or Russian security.”

“My dear General Mattis, I know you are aware of the extensive use of proxy terrorists by the US as part of its regime change tool kit, and you also know that the US broke faith with Russia in the post 9-11 period, when the world’s nations poured out their sympathy for the 9-11 attacks.

Putin and Bush stood together in the fight against international terrorism until America went over to the dark side, including the eight years under Obama.

And I assume that you are aware of the Sandia National Labs report conclusion that all three World Trade Towers were brought down by mini-nukes placed in the basements; the nukes had been specifically designed to bring large buildings down in their footprint with as little collateral damage as possible.

Yet you and your uniform class did nothing but swallow the cheap cover story. The real perpetrators of 9-11 are still walking around as free men, and our military is now advancing to the Russian border.”

Asia Pivot, here we come, to pursue our interests

Who holds the Gold Medal for Regime Change?

The US has 750 post Cold War overseas bases, but when China puts a few up on some tiny reclaimed islands in the South China Sea to counter our Navy’s “floating bases”, Mattis calls Russia, China and Iran major threats. Hell, all we did to Iran is steal the whole country and have the Shah milk it dry. What reason could they possibly have to not love America?

The good general knows that Russia’s military expenditures are a small fraction of ours, which limits Moscow to remaining in a completely defensive posture. That of course requires having a strong deterrent to America’s first strike policy, which is a blank check to attack any country it wants to, for any reason. The language clearly states this, done under a Democrat administration.

No other country has a first strike policy like this. Many feel this clearly makes the US the biggest threat to everyone else on the planet, which is exactly what our first strike policy was changed to convey. The countries destroyed by proxy terrorism over the last several years were just “examples” for others to see. The jihadi version of this was to chop off the heads of their prisoners or burn them alive, but we just cut of the head of a country’s independence.

I used the term “yellow government”, borrowed from the familiar journalistic one, because of the cruel twisting of meanings used by our government. Justifying the use of proxy terrorists to “defend our interests” is one such example. General Mattis telegraphed that he is on board the program by listing Russia as the number one threat simply because Moscow can defend itself.

Ebay patch

“Exceptional America” now deems any country that cannot be military dominated to be a threat – period, but under international law all countries have a right to self-defense and to retaliate against aggression, like a pre-emptive strike.

The Democrats have the Yellow Government disease themselves. They are up in arms over Russia’s alleged influence on the US election, even though Hillary’s own campaign people “hacked” Bernie Sanders out of the race via secret machinations within the supposedly “non-partisan” Democratic National Committee.

The Republicans are angry because the public chose a candidate who was “none of the above”, showing they were sick and tired of being lied to and exploited by our professional political class. The current NeoCon bunch in Congress form the Yellow Government cheerleaders, waving the Russophobia flag, led by John McCain from the mob state of Arizona, and Lindsey Graham from South Carolina.

All of them know that the US overthrew the elected Mosaddegh government of Iran in 1953, compliments of Kermit Roosevelt and the CIA, stealing the country via its puppet the Shah until its later Revolution. I knew Kennett Love well, the New York Times Mideast correspondent in Iran at the time, who had a front row seat on the whole affair. He gave me 8 hours of interview footage covering that period of his life.

Sadly, that regime change template became the dark side of America unexceptionalism, where we funded opposition parties galore, rigged elections and assassinated where needed when the former options were not working.

Patrick Lawrence in his The Nation commentary came to a similar conclusion, but from a different direction. He said,

“Most of us will do more or less anything just now to avoid taking a cold, hard look at ourselves and what it is we are up to… for we display a striking unity in our tendency to blame others for our difficulties, shortcomings, and failures, of which there are unusually many at this moment—every one our own doing.”

I will close with one of my often used lines, but one that fits here perfectly. “Never has so little been owed by so many to so few, as to our current governing class of pretenders and scamsters.”

Biography (NG of A) George Romney

George Romney was born in Dalton-on-Furness, Lancashire, on 15 December 1734, the third of the eleven children of John Romney and Anne Simpson. Leaving school at the age of eleven, he worked for eight years in his father's cabinetmaking workshop before being apprenticed to a local painter, Christopher Steele, with whom he served for two years, from 1755 to 1757, in Kendal, York, and Lancaster. He married a Kendal girl, Mary Abbot, on 14 October 1756, and painted at Kendal from 1756 to 1762, principally small full-length portraits.

In 1762 Romney settled in London, leaving his wife and son behind, and henceforward saw them only on his few visits to the north. He won premiums for his historical paintings from the Society of Arts in 1763 and 1765, and exhibited at the Free Society between 1763 and 1769, and with the Society of Artists from 1770 to 1772. During a visit to Paris in the autumn of 1764 he was deeply impressed by the classicism of Eustache Le Sueur. His portraits were chiefly influenced by Ramsay. In 1773 he traveled to Italy with the miniaturist Ozias Humphry, remaining there until 1775, chiefly in Rome.

On his return to London Romney was patronized by the Duke of Richmond, in whose celebrated gallery of casts he had formerly studied, and took the grand house in Cavendish Square, with its large painting room, previously occupied by Francis Cotes. He achieved an instant success, and his unremitting application as a society portraitist is amply documented by his sitter books, which survive for the years 1776 to 1795. He never bothered to exhibit at the Royal Academy of Arts, though this was partly due to an antagonism with Reynolds. His health affected by overapplication, he gave up portrait painting at the end of 1795 and retired to Hampstead. In 1798 he sold the lease of his London house and returned to Kendal, where he died insane on 15 November 1802.

Richard Neutra's Kun House I, 7960 Fareholm Drive, Los Angeles CA. Architect Richard Neutra. Designed with Gregory Ain. Sold to Bruce and Kimi Westcott. Sold in 2008 to Gerald V. Casale as a trust. Brilliantly restored by Casale, James Rega, and Christopher Steele. Won a 2015 LA Conservancy Award. Gerald Casale Puts His Hollywood Hills Richard Neutra Masterpiece On The Market (01/27-2015).

Richard Neutra — the Viennese architect who took the cool, polished details of European Modernism and adapted it to the California landscape — designed this sleek house in stucco, steel, and glass for journalist Joseph Kun in 1936. After a series of owners (Neutra went on to build another house for this client nearby, known as Kun House #2) Devo co-founder Gerald Casale, a longtime admirer of the house, bought it in 2007 and embarked on a seven-year restoration. Casale put the 3-bed, 2-bath house on the market with an asking price of $3.5M.

This house has a spectacular city and ocean view. Beautifully restored and very nearly original. About 1700 square feet, you enter from Fareholm Drive into an airy entry pavilion, which opens onto a huge deck, with the most amazing vista. The entry pavilion has a terrific uplight, and like most of the house, has the original aluminum silver paint magnificently restored. The next level down has the living room and dining room, kitchen and laundry room. Down one more level are two nice bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each of these levels have very spacious wraparound decks. Below this are several terraced levels of landscaped grounds.

The Kun house is also important because a young photographer named Julius Shulman was so captivated by the house in 1936 that he took some casual snapshots of it, which got to the architect Neutra. Neutra was so impressed that he used Julius Shulman nearly exclusively for the rest of his career. Julius Shulman is now 97 years old and still taking great photographs.

The celebrated George Romney (1734-1802) was apprenticed to Christopher Steele in a studio here and Daniel Gardner, Redman's nephew, was taught to paint in the same studio. 070629-N-8506S-002 OAHU, Hawaii (NNS) (June 29, 2007) -- Members of SEAL Delivery Team ONE place a small American flag next to a Milo tree sapling during the Annual "Never Forget" Hoolaukanaka June 29 in the Hawaii Kai area of the island of Oahu. The Milo tree is one of five trees planted during last year's event to commemorate the lives of five U.S. Navy SEALs killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. The SEALs were part of SDVT-1 based out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The Milo tree, a native tree to Hawaii, is symbolic of the versatility of the Navy SEALs as it can thrive both near the ocean and in the high, rocky mountains of the islands. Chris is a very cool guy. I didnt get a chance to know him well but he was fun to hang with on the few occasions that we did. An incrdible intellect and a massive physique on top of it. I think he could easily press 350lbs. Rode a freak'n nice Harley too. He has done his part to help make nuclear america a wee bit safer. If you read this Chris, sorry about the flower joke if you even remember it. Something tells me you dont forget anything.
