Lois Buchanan : Off to let the dogs out to potty, then ice cream and bed! Have a great night all, I think I am feeling a little better, altho still coughing, and I still have a big pocket of pleurisy I am more energetic, but still taking it easy. I know if I overdo it I will end up in the hospital and that is so not worth it! So, I feel I am being lazy but know it is for the best. God bless! Pamela Petruschke : ANOTHER UPDATE: OK, Universe, this really (no REALLY) needs to stop!

Darren was back in the emergency room today. He started having chest pains and after the Hematology Clinic AND our Dr. told him to go to the emergency room he finally complied. The GOOD news is that there is nothing wrong with his heart, he doesn't have another blood clot and he doesn't have pneumonia.

He does however have pleurisy AND they found out with the CAT scans that he also has gallstones. The pleurisy (an irritation of the lining of the lungs) is pretty painful but thankfully not life threatening. The gallstones are just there and the Dr. said that unless it blocks a duct, he could go the rest of his life without it bothering him (OH, let us hope...).

My cousin Dennis called today to see how Darren was doing and he said to tell him not to worry - he's just getting his warranty work done! Thanks Dennis for lightening the load! Love ya bud!

I wouldn't mind but being as the verdict was acute bronchitis with a touch of pleurisy and i spent lunchtime having blood tests for suspected appendicitis I reckon I had a genuine need for it! Sharron Saxon Cain : woke up @ 5am with unbearable pain under my right rib the same pain I had b4 my gallbladder was removed...it was excruciating the kind where u break out in a cold sweat & I got nauseated never actually threw up just dry heaves then in about 45 minutes the pain subsided...anybody know what it might have been any of my nurse friends out there..it was under my right rib..thanks!!
