Freedom is rarely "FREE"......

Today we celebrate Armed Forces Day...a day to honor all of our active duty members that willingly serve to protect our "freedom" on a daily basis...I think we often take for granted the liberties and freedoms that we have in this country...while you are reading this someone's father, mother, son, daughter ,grandson, husband, wife or friend is somewhere sacrificing time from their families as well as possibly their lives in order to protect YOU, someone they may have never met.....I can't help but also think of the sacrifice that one man paid on the cross for ALL of us....so much sacrifice from others so we can be "FREE" and have "LIFE"....so today I just want to say thank you to all who have sacrificed for me.....I recognize the sacrifice and the price others had to pay for me to be writing this today..I accept the free gift you have given to me and I vow to try and make a difference to others as well as pray for your continued strength and safety...so how about you?..what do you plan to do with your Freedom?...is it something worthy of others sacrifices?...think about it

Tommeka MrsMuzik Crank : ***Had a moment...just thinking about the love I have 4 my Babies. When they were little.. I would take them ALL with me everywhere I went. Yes EVERYWHERE! If I went 2 the grocery store..they went...2 the drug store..they went...down the road...they went...2 visit friends or fam. They went! I always showed them my love as well as told them everyday and everynight. As I still do now. My Babies mean sooo much 2 me and 2 this very day at the ages of 17 1\2...16...14 1\2...13 and 11 1\2...I STILL SHOW them the SAME love! Still have them with me EVERYWHERE and will fight tooth an nail 2 keep them happy and safe. All these years and honestly I can say they have only given me minor woes and nothing tht I can say embarrassed me or made me doubt my up bringing of them was. Grade F! I cherish them. All 5 of them and have no regrets. God has truly blessed me. I say all this only 2 let someone know...ur Children are a gift. Spend as much time with them as u can because soon they will grow up and move on testing out the life YOU TAUGHT THEM! Anybody who REALLY know me knows this is a true story and I'm a MOTHER 1ST!

Joseph Guyett : To my facebook family and freinds, i wanted to post something else here, that i posted in the obituary of Aida Ramos, so i guess i will say it here. What i said in the message part of the obituary is this;... I have know Aida Ramos for a few years during my marriage to her daghter, Margarita and during that time, Aida have treated me with lots of respect. I will miss her, because every time i think of Aida, it remeinds me of a promise that she had me make and it concerns a gift that she presented to me at christmas, and to this day, i still have the gift. The gift is a zippo lighter with my name engraved on it, in spanish and the promise, it was that, if the marriage of Margarita and me did not last, Aida made me promise, never to get rid of the gift, ( i could not open it untill i swore i would not get rid it, lol). You see, Aida, in my heart was not just a mother-in-law to me...she was more like a mother. Aida was like a mother to all who came in contact with, she never held a grudge, she would always walk around with a smile. Aida took the time out, to make freinds to all and help those who she felt needed the help. GOD speaks of angels, well i wanna say, AIDA, she was one of his angels. I will miss her but she willl live in my heart, forever.

Debby Stuckey : I just picked up Caitlin from a birthday party sleepover at a lil Filipino girl's house and she told me that the girl's mother gave gift bags out to all the white girls as they left, but not to her and other black girls. The disappointment and hurt look on her face would make your heart sank (she is my sensitive child, but mean as hell too). I just explained to her that there are still ignorant people in this world; pray for them and keep walking with your head held high.

Jo Dee Messina : Me This is the song I have the hardest time singing. We are thinking of putting it on the new record. You all will be the judge of whether of it actually makes it. This recording is from last winter when I wrote the song. It's at vocal warmups. Before every show the band and I get together somewhere and run through a few songs. I like to do it to get everyone gathered, focused and in the same head so that when we walk on stage, it's not the first time we're making music that day. ( usually no one is allowed in when we're doing vocals ) ;-)

Life iz a b'ful gift of God. And we all living beings r d creatures of dat almighty. I don't noe if i should share dis bitter truth of my lyf wid u all or nt bt it iz d truth never told to anyone.I'm a transgender. I was born wid a male body and a female soul. A few hormonal changes when i was in my mother's womb changed ma gender from my sex. Sex iz decided by wt in btwn ua legs nd gender iz decided by wht in btwn ua ears(brain-hypothalamus). I used to wear my sis's clothes till i was 5. Bt aftrwards it became harder to hide wt my inside was nd still iz. At my 12th b'day ma mom gave me a gift "Bible", and told me dat God iz grt, alwayz remember him. I turned and replied" God iz not grt. He too does mistakes. I alwayz wnted to be a gal physically nd do everything wt in ma hrt iz bt dis single shit dat i'm not in d rite body destroyed everything. I cant hv family.....cant hv kids......can never hv d day when i'll say everything iz olrite. Its d worst pain i can ever imagine. M 20 now nd my life iz directionless. I cried lyk hell before God to get ma body back.....ma own body back....not this opposite one. Bt he never listened. I thought of suicide a million tymes bt m not a suicidal being. I wnt to prove myself. But its really hard to live when u don't even hv false hope. Transgenders r in every corner of dis world.....humiliated.....hurt by people.....and hated by all. No one cares for them, all searches laughter by making dere fun. My single motto by posting dis is to tell u all dat nxt tym whenever u see a trangender pls don't make fun.
