Gerard Canta : David Lee Roth - Just A Gigolo For Vicki Abelson from me with love. Talking about Donna Summers today brought back memories of the studio mentioned below (which is now a warehouse of Amazing Savings) but used to be owned by Liberace's AVI record co. In the early 1980's, the music video part of the biz was exploding and sets did seem like the days of silent films, -crammed together, everybody so close and all going on at the same time because the sound was dubbed in later. This video shows that time best (but from a West Coast viewpoint.) It was made by my friend Bobby Lombard, features many friends, and I even knew the old writer who lived to see his song make another fortune for him in his old age. Imagine being a teenager in this environment. I was lucky. :) David Lee Roth - Just a gigolo from Crazy from the heat.
