John O'Dempsey : Who doubled the child care rebate? Who signed Kyoto? Who built facilities in every Australian school? Who gave a computer to each secondary student? Who initiated the biggest health reform since Medicare? Who gave the biggest pension rise ever? Who got us through the GFC? So many want to hate Kevin becuase he's not tied to Union factions, because he is not Julia, because he's a vit grumpy? Come on folks. No need to worry - Kevin will be a good labor leader who has learnt some lessons. He can win. Julia can't. and don't give us crap about loyalty. Who stabbed him in the back ignoring the wishes of the people. Get over it and opt for a Labor victory. 48 minutes ago - View -
Julia Quinn : A wee reminder for Where-Are-You-Wednesday: I call out a country or U.S. state, and if you live there (or were born there or used to live there or really, have any connection you'd like to claim) you post and "represent."

Lisa Hocking Willett : Sickened by a man being abused on public transport by some out of control teenagers and nobody stands up to help him!!! , what the hell is wrong with society today?? Imagine if that was your father, grandfather, brother, whatever, what do we do, we take a blind eye to it, if you can't see it then it mustn't be happening...those people who witnessed this attack and ignored it, you should be ashamed and those kids who carried it out should be locked up, if that was my child who did something like this I would be horrified, what happened to respecting your elders and your fellow man??? I was always taught to treat others the way you would like to be treated, I could go on for longer but think I have made my point.... 1 hour ago - View -

To what am I referring? These celebrities having a baby. Julia Roberts had twins and you would think that the new messiah was born. I have twins. It is tougher to take care of kids when you have no nanny to hand them off to. Kim Kardashian is the most recent of these special people with the special ability to have a child. Forget the fact that our ancestors did it crouching in fields with no drugs to knock them out. Forget that over 5 billion other mothers gave birth. Kim is special. Well, lady, it is easier put it in and pushing it out than it is to raise that kid into a useful human being. And rich celebrities often raise some real monsters. Good luck to us all. 2 hours ago - View -

SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH : Jeri-Laken and Kipper Greer joyfully invite you to the dedication of their daughter Jersi Lynn Greer.
Steve and Julia Brandon joyfully invite you to the dedication of their son Austin McGee Brandon
The dedication will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013, at 11 o'clock in the morning at Shiloh Baptist Church Big Creek
The dedication of a baby is a religious ceremony where the parents make a promise before God and the church to raise their child in the ways of their religion. It is a public opportunity to declare the intention of the parents to set a godly example for their child and to teach them religious beliefs and ideals. A baby dedication is a joyful time to celebrate new life. 5 hours ago - View -

KMOV.com : Today the Republican-led House passed a ban on abortions after fetuses reach 20 weeks old. Before lawmakers approved the bill, they made last-minute exceptions for women who are raped and report the rapes within 48 hours as well as minors who become victims of incest. During the debate, a GOP lawmaker suggested he was behind the ban because at 20 weeks "a male baby...may have their hand between their legs. If they feel pleasure, why is it so hard to think that they could feel pain?" The bill passed along party lines. However, the measure faces a tougher challenge in the Democratic-controlled Senate and a possible White House veto. There's a lot to this piece of legislation. But where do you stand? Should abortions be banned at 20 weeks? Let us know how you feel about this and turn on NEWS 4 THIS MORNING. 5 hours ago - View -

Ken Bublitz : What could be better than sitting on the deck on a beautiful summer evening enjoying a cold glass of chardonnay? Wayne J Schneider : Returned from our granddaughter's H.S. graduation last evening in Redmond, WA, along w/800 other seniors. It's difficult to believe that Abigail Ruth is old enough since it seems like a week ago when she was Dennis and Karyn's 1st child. Tempus Fugit and all that. It was an impressive ceremony at Key Arena in Seattle and nice to see so many of the school's teachers wearing Psychology hoods. I was also intrigued with the class president's speech with the exception of her statement that 'there was nothing that could harm them.' Of course when I was a senior in H.S. I knew nothing of the harm that awaited me either. I have always stated that I believe God has this whole life thing backwards: we should be de-wombed with all of the wisdom that we will every have so that combined with the strength of youth our balance will be quite useful for humanity. Then, as our age increases our strength and wisdom will, pardon the phrase, wane. Then, an evening and breakfast with our daughter Julia and grandson Maddox who, at age 8, is composing music that he played on the piano for us. It is evident that Maddox received his genetic influence from some other pool the Schneider pool! Now, its back to packing. Peace, sisters and brothers. 6 hours ago - View -

Debbie Williams : I have decided in the lead-up to the Federal election that I am refusing to vote for anyone who has acted like an idiot, done stupid stuff, behaved like a spoiled child, repeated the same five words in an interview ad nauseum, looked smug, accused someone of lying, spread rumors, shafted someone else to further their own career, behaved like they were in kindergarten during question time, said one thing when they quite definitely meant another, told me what the Australian public want (or need) without actually knowing what the hell they're talking about.
Apparently, this doesn't leave anyone worthy of voting for.
Labor apparently doesn't understand that whether Julia is in charge, or Kevin is in charge, I won't be voting for them because I can't stand either one.
Liberal are in a lot of trouble, because I don't like Tony either.
The independents don't thrill me.
Apparently, the only choice I have left is to vote for Mickey Mouse. Thinking about it, he'd do a better job.
End of today's political rant. 7 hours ago - View -

Terry James Appleby : 35 year non parole sentence. Ok.
Rehabilitation is a fairytale the judicial system feeds the public to make them think that "there's good in everyone". Nonsense. Some people are bad people. Adrian Bayley is a bad person. And bad people should be permanently removed from society.
Why do we give second chances to criminals? Rapists, child molesters, murderers. They gave up their right to be part of society the second they made their choice to go against it.
I believe in capital punishment. You take a life. You don't deserve your own.
Before you challenge me on this, tell me how many people in your family have been raped or murdered. 8 hours ago - View -
