Jye Yee Alvin Tan : Malay can be a powerful integration language between the races, only if all Malaysians respect and promote it by using it regularly with pride and conviction. For most Chinese Malaysians, for instance, we only speak Malay when it's absolutely necessary, like, when there is no other common language. If we speak Malay in an ordinary context, Chinese people look at you like you have two heads.
I remember a few years ago, when my brother was having SPM, we decided to speak exclusively in Malay the entire month to help him improve in the language (serious). One Sunday afternoon, our dad brought the family to meet some of his friends for the first time over a buffet lunch. When the aunty overheard us speaking in Malay, she was like, "EH! Why are they speaking in Malay ah? You raised them speaking Malay ah!?" with a very worried, incredulous, and even slightly-condescending tone, as if speaking Malay is shameful. My Chinese-educated dad immediately went on the defensive, saying, "Oh no no no no no, they're just playing! They speak fluent English at home!" (as if speaking Malay is such an oddity or something to be discouraged).
Malay should be the first choice for anyone who calls himself Malaysian first, not the last resort. If you speak Chinese or Tamil as a first language, I don't think you really understand what being Malaysian first means. Malay is the national and official language of Malaysia and should thus be accorded its rightful status though regular and widespread usage.
(I know it's ironic that I'm writing in English, but you know how poorly some Malaysians grasp Malay; besides, it's not the Malay-speaking readers who need to read this message) 1 day ago - View -

Lorie Perue Nash : Ghost Caught on Camera Film in Dorset Holy. .. creepy READ THE STORY BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO!
This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had
been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.
You can even hear the film crew talking about it as they had spotted it if you turn the volume up Watch the video: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=305863449540222 2 days ago - View -

Najib Razak : The new Cabinet will be responsible for delivering transformation in Malaysia and continuing the economic and political reforms that began four years ago. The new ministers bring both the measured calm of experience, and the vibrant energy of new ideas; a grounding in anti-corruption and human rights law, and an appreciation for the dynamism of the private sector.
Over the past months and years, divisions have opened up in Malaysian society. Now it is time for all of us, in government and beyond, to put the bitterness behind us, and work towards national reconciliation – and national unity. It is in that spirit that I have asked these men and women to serve, not just as ministers, but as a unity Cabinet. Together we will act to bring about national reconciliation, secure Malaysia’s economic future, and build a stronger, more harmonious society. 6 days ago - View -

People in Pakistan, Karachi are fighting for their rights by facing directly threats, they have stood up against the terrorist MQM Mafia.
Altaf Hussain gave direct threats on TV channels that MQM will kill the peaceful protesters if they do not leave the protest. He also talked about separating Karachi from Pakistan.
Dear People in UK - now it is your responsibility to start a legal process against this criminal Altaf Hussain. Call your local police office and file a report against him for openly threatening Pakistani citizens. Write letters, emails and make phone calls to your local MPs in UK to register your protest and expose the criminal Altaf Hussain.
MQM has done massive rigging in Karachi elections by using their terror tactics but the people of Karachi have rejected MQM and Altaf Hussain. Their time is ending soon the people of Karachi will decide their future and not some terrorist living in UK. 9 days ago - View -
