Antonio Angelo Neto : The old Rocker wore his hair too long,
wore his trouser cuffs too tight.
Unfashionable to the end --- drank his ale too light.
Death's head belt buckle --- yesterday's dreams ---
the transport caf' prophet of doom.
Ringing no change in his double-sewn seams
in his post-war-babe gloom.
Now he's too old to Rock'n'Roll but he's too young to die.
He once owned a Harley Davidson and a Triumph Bonneville.
Counted his friends in burned-out spark plugs
and prays that he always will.
But he's the last of the blue blood greaser boys
all of his mates are doing time:
married with three kids up by the ring road
sold their souls straight down the line.
And some of them own little sports cars
and meet at the tennis club do's.
For drinks on a Sunday --- work on Monday.
They've thrown away their blue suede shoes.
Now they're too old to Rock'n'Roll and they're too young to die.
So the old Rocker gets out his bike
to make a ton before he takes his leave.
Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner
just like it used to be.
And as he flies --- tears in his eyes ---
his wind-whipped words echo the final take
and he hits the trunk road doing around 120
with no room left to brake.
And he was too old to Rock'n'Roll but he was too young to die.
No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll if you're too young to die. 1 minute ago - View -

Kale Platzer : My thought for the day... Holden, bring back the Aussie-built engines like the legendary 5.0L (obviously a more modern version of it), don't order Chevrolet chassis' any more, stop ordering any other parts from any other country that we can easily make ourselves, then tell GM to get fucked and keep on building cars. 2 hours ago - View -

CHILD OBESITY - IS IT ABUSE?
*Earlier this week, it was reported that a five-year-old girl was taken into care after her weight reached more than 10 stone. But should obese children be taken away from their parents? Debating the issue today is Health journalist Dani Levy who says yes, claiming that parents of obese children are the only ones to blame and don't deserve to have children if they cannot care for them. Body Image campaigner Natasha Devon disagrees, saying parents need better education about the dangers of over-eating. But what do you think? 3 hours ago - View -

Eric Malcom Schreeck : Saw and heard (so...witnessed) a transaction at a corner I was waiting to cross for money in exchange for sex. It was more mutters and glances than that but, yeah. The fact that it was so casually happening literally inches away was a bit odd. I guess I'm strangely flattered that I don't look like a cop?
A block from home I passed an evil tree, foreboding despite the city's numerous attempts to neuter its gnarly residency. A muscle car the color of dull copper was running its engine under the evil tree, no lights in or out. There weren't any other cars parked in the vicinity, which would be packed with vehicles if it were a club night. I dared not look for long into the abyss of those midnight windows lest a charnel house reflection of myself stare back and, silent, scream. The sidewalk across that road only upped my anxiety as a strange wind blew cold across my exposed throat. I heard leaves blow past but there were none to be seen. My skin felt clammy with the passing of the wind. I imagined spectral hands grasping my throat as they passed through me, longing for the sweet pleasure of a midnight strangulation. Brr.

Jay Racerex Are : So time to download my thoughts..... Ok we're do I start as u know I've been in a dark tunnel with no light in sight I've always been one to sacrifice my happiness for others put others first karma will reward you do un to others as one would want done to self we'll this one time I chose a different path I decided to walk down a path with just bare feet in the sand I followed theses foot prints to a cliff and this is what the wind said if you believe in me I want you to jump and I didn't question him I jumped and when I woke up I felt a weight lifted and I've. Never been more motivated this dream as I call it was more then just a dream it awoken something inside me that I thought was dead and gone something so dark even I dare not to look for it I've still got a long ways to go for my road of redemption but we all gotta start somewhere as I'm listening to these slow jams I start to think how a couple months ago I was never planing on making it to see 2014 when u hit rock bottom sometimes you have dug yourself to deep to escape. An angel saved me and made even a believer out of me. 4 hours ago - View -

After much soul searching I have decided to close The Pagan Poppet . I have been struggling so much, in my private life... literally starving to death, and trying to survive with my little one under the most inhumane conditions... and after months and months of trying, with all my might, and with whatever resources I could, to get back on track, I now find myself utterly homeless in winter, with a very young child. I wanted to go home, only to be confronted with the harsh realization that I have no home to go to. I have no family, no support system, no partner in life, no one to help me at all for anything. And now... I just feel hollow and empty. I am really sorry, but I just dont have the strength to keep up this page. I have begged, I have pleaded... I have tried my best... and as I sit here in this hellhole of a house, so cold I can see my breath as I type... I just know that whatever energy I have left, I will devote it to the only thing in this world I have... my wonderful child. I dont know where this crazy life will take me, but I hope somehow I can find a better life far far away from where I am. I am sorry. Thank you all for everything. 5 hours ago - View -
