RIP Woolwich Soldier : Trying to simply wish someone RIP and raise money for charity has led to being accused of being affiliated to far right groups. We liked many pages to get this page in front of the masses. Unfortunately one of these pages has been singled out to try and taint our purpose.

Makes me think that it is pointless trying to do something good, and in future not to do nothing at all.

Cj Cherryh : I find quite vexing the over-emphasis on climate and human-caused catastrophe on 'nature' programs. It's ending every program on a downer, and case of unintended consequences---turning OFF the very people who would be most reachable. I'm very fond of nature. I'm also very fond of the fact nature has built-in failsafes and things that work to stabilize the systems that heat and cool our planet---I'm NOT fond of the fact that scared people, driven into deep mental hidey-holes of denial by the prospect of the earth changing for their kids, don't even want to consider the notion of funding research. I'm quite convinced we COULD lay hands on the great wheels of this business: we have the power source, we have a lot of the technological know-how, and what we DON'T know is the effect of doing it. Is nature going to damp what's going on? And in what direction? I'd like to see far more emphasis on the view that, yes, unbridled usage got us here, but it also gave us the ability to see what's going on and if we decide, internationally, to apply our technology to a fix. Tweak the Conveyor Current or restart it if it stops?? Occlude the Pacific with clouds or let it rip au nature? But every positive show about what we SHOULD be working to save ends with depression and defeatism. And that's NOT what we ought to be preaching, brothas!

I feel better today.......much better than yesterday about the verdict. I hope the jurors come back today 'rested' and with a new sense of VICTORY in whatever decision they make. I feel like they are a very serious jury......a dedicated jury.....and I do believe with all my heart that after rendering two very, very difficult verdicts of guilty against Jodi.....that they will be able to reach a unanimous verdict, regardless of their choice.

I can't imagine a jury that has been together for five months to throw in the towel and hand it over to a completely new jury after they've put in all this time and energy for this trial. That is my hope in my heart today.

As we enter into the second day of deliberation, please continue to lift up prayers for the Alexander family. I believe that Travis is here in spirit....I don't believe he will be able to rest in peace until he sees justice at it's best. And it is past time to let this wonderful man......have the peace he was not granted on his last day on this earth.

Please light a candle in memory of Travis. In the first box, put Justice for Travis and in the second your initials and in the third JJF (for Joey Jackson Fans).
