I got to come home around 8:30pm tonight and had a late dinner with my kids.... got two days left of 7 to go. I'm register tomorrow night and deli Thursday. I found out today my neighbor(that I share the patio with) kid's best friend is my store manager's son today when they came in to talk to him. Angel and him knew each other from class in Junior high before they split high schools.... we know a lot of people from Southeast as my kids lived in that district before we moved here but they changed in Junior high and we are LHS now! Most of Jason's friends went to Southwest!

FireWise of Southwest Colorado : West Fork Fire Complex Update -- June 18, 2013, 9:00 PM

Due to more cloud cover over the fires the West Fork Complex was less active today. However, warm, dry and windy conditions are predicted for the next few days which can increase fire intensity and growth potential. There are currently 256 people assigned to the fires.

West Fork Fire: The West Fork Fire moved slightly north today making some short runs up to the 11,000 foot level. On the southeast corner of the fire, moderate weather allowed firefighters to hold the backing fire in check by utilizing water drops from helicopters and on-the-ground firefighters.

Windy Pass Fire: There was minimal fire behavior on the Windy Pass Fire today. Firefighters continued to scout and identify areas suitable for effective fireline construction. In some of the identified areas, crews have begun line construction. Firefighters also continued structure protection efforts at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Closures: All previous closures remain in effect.

the Laurens Glass Works where he had worked since 1925. Having observed a
steady expansion of the plant over those years the retired employee reflected that,
"Some of us old timers will miss a part of the new things that are on the way."
Indeed the Laurens plant had seen amazing growth since its founding in 1910. From
renovated furniture factory building with an estimated workforce of fifty to seventy five, it had grown into a major manufacturer of glass bottles and containers with
employment at more than eight hundred by the early 1970's. Yet the rosy future that
Morgan predicted proved illusory. By 1996 after mergers with several larger glass
manufacturers over two decades, Laurens Glass would close its doors for good. This
paper is an initial study-an overview of the founding of Laurens Glass, its labor management relations, and its successful growth and expansion over the decades.
For more than eighty years its well crafted soft drink bottles, its stable work force,
and its many clients throughout the Southeast and beyond made it one of the premier manufacturers in the region. Unfortunately,in the 1970's,the success it had
achieved was slowly but steadily being displaced by the advent of plastic containers.

Decameseta San Juan Batangas : More than 50 arrested at Southeast Texas cockfight

SILSBEE, Texas (AP) — More than 50 people have been arrested at a cockfight in Southeast Texas.

Hardin County Sheriff Ed Cain said Tuesday that deputies responding to a call about dogs possibly fighting located the cockfighting ring 10 miles north of Silsbee.

Cain says 51 people were charged with a misdemeanor attending a cockfight following Saturday's incident. A man living on the property was charged with organizing a cockfight. Cain says deputies found 15 dead roosters and about 60 others still alive.

The sheriff says it's not illegal to have roosters — it's just against the law to fight them. Cain says the roosters can be reclaimed by the owner.

Investigators believe the cockfighting ring had been operating for at least a year.

Silsbee is about 90 miles northeast of Houston.
