Think it may be kennel cough a respiratory infection. Poor thing....my heart breaks for her. So glad I didnt have kids...cant imagine what id be like having a sick child. Mocha : Program with tiny budget makes huge difference for pets, owners "The program's goal was to keep 400 animals out of the shelter this year. But in just its first month, it's intercepted more than 150 dogs, cats and rabbits.

"Sometimes a $10 rabies shot will prevent a dog from going into a shelter," Weise said. "So I'm just going to reach into my pocket and write that check."

But Weise's pockets aren't very deep and her "non-budget," as she calls it, means they can't expand the program to other city shelters. So they're looking for donors.

"The big foundations have so many funding restrictions," she said. And her effort doesn't have a spreadsheet that reflects its success..

But it does have an old lady who can sleep in peace, her pit bull curled up next to her wheelchair; a family fortified by a gentle goodbye to an animal they spent 16 years loving; and a puppy who's back to chasing his tail because someone stepped up to help."

Help The Nosalas with Rosie and her 11 abandoned puppies : If you look at the main picture of Rosie nursing the pups, and look at her today. That fear is gone from her eyes. She's at peace, in fact she's on the couch asleep right now! We are not very good at "discipline" when it comes to our kids...I mean pets! Rosie early this morning, gave Wayne a kiss in bed while he was still sleeping. At first he thought it was Pepper because he taught her to sleep on the bed...and he reached up to pet her and realized the hair was much shorter and it was Rosie. She's happy now, trusts us and plays with Pepper a lot. They are two peas in a pod now. It's so good to see the change in Rosie from scared/exhausted to happy/rested/playful dog! --Ann

This Charity is a very small and very dedicated team devoted to the rescue and rehome of unwanted dogs. So far this year we have rehomed 247 dogs. This Facebook was to seek community support in finding homes for dogs.
I am not here to be subjected to such extreme rudeness and personal abuse that i have had to put up with. I have had to witness people suggesting i kill one of our dogs, and personal abuse when i asked for help reuniting a lost Rottweiler bitch with her puppies. I work exceptionally hard for dog welfare and do not deserve this treatment.
Thank you to everyone who have in the past been sharing posts. There was a time when this resulted in the massive increase in the numbers of dogs we have been able to save compared with just using the website, but not recently.
