WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News : A survey from Florida International University named Main Beach in East Hampton as the number one beach in the country. The beach earned the top spot for its cleanliness...the author also said it wasn't badly damaged by hurricane sandy. Other beaches that made the list include a beach in Waikiki, Hawaii and Saint George Island State Park in Florida.
