Shall I go on...? How Many More? I have family in the local department and many friends in Law Enforcement. They are good people, friends and neighbors that would never stand by and allow this kind of thing to happen. They would take a bullet for you and spend all night searching for a lost child. There are courageous LEO's out there risking their asses every day, not getting any thanks for it and making the world a better place. None the less- there is no code that should stand in the way of the perps of the above crime from being turned over to the justice system and punished to the full extent. Why is there a media blackout on these event? We cannot allow these things to go unnoticed while there is a massive push for Gun Control. These kinds of stories are becoming more and more frequent .. and hey Rodney King LIVED at least. Where is the outrage?

James Rockefeller : The JDR Debt Elimination Act:

1) Lock Income Tax at their current rates.
2) Lock Corporate Rates where they are, except change the rate for bone fide investment in America to 0%. (See the American Automobile Labeling Act as a model)
3) Require all personal compensation (wages, salary, distributions of dividends, stock, futures, perks, etc.) to be declared as "income" - line 7 on the 1040.
4) Eliminate All Personal Deductions - except for a $20,000 (?) lump deduction for each filing household. This should cover the loss of Mortgage Deductions and EITC, etc. and minimize the immediate impact on most ...
5) Using a 10 year rolling average and as the Debt is paid off (which can only be after the Deficit is eliminated), adjust Income Rates by universal percentages. For example if the debt comes down 20%, the amount now taxed at 35% will go down by 7% (35 - .2 x .35 = 27%) and the amount now taxed at 15% will go down 3% (.2 x .15 = 12%).

NOW .. Watch the rates plummet as we all work together - 'cause everyone has skin in the game and the economy ROCK's 'cause investors will see we finally have our act together.

Conversely though - rates could go up if we add a new program like Med' Part "D" (remember that one?), ObamaCare, or, I don't know - how about the cost of lifetime VA care because we need to Support Our Troops after we send them to invade a foreign county in order to keep the Strait of Hormuz open for Exxon & BP.
