This Charity is a very small and very dedicated team devoted to the rescue and rehome of unwanted dogs. So far this year we have rehomed 247 dogs. This Facebook was to seek community support in finding homes for dogs.
I am not here to be subjected to such extreme rudeness and personal abuse that i have had to put up with. I have had to witness people suggesting i kill one of our dogs, and personal abuse when i asked for help reuniting a lost Rottweiler bitch with her puppies. I work exceptionally hard for dog welfare and do not deserve this treatment.
Thank you to everyone who have in the past been sharing posts. There was a time when this resulted in the massive increase in the numbers of dogs we have been able to save compared with just using the website, but not recently.

turkey

delicatessen
delights.

as I wove
my way to
work the line
I noticed
the wee ones
gone. I
pondered
mused
and wondered
if perhaps
I had created
cannibals.

Feeding

Lacye Weeks Team : Mortgage Bonds briefly pushed into positive territory early this morning, but have since turned south as Stocks continue to grind higher. The Fed meeting began this morning at 11:00am ET and will end tomorrow at 2:00pm ET with the monetary policy statement. A news conference by Fed Chairman Bernanke will follow at 2:30pm.
There is a growing number of economists that feel Mr. Bernanke may start to talk of tapering and there is the camp that feels that the statement may ease concerns of near term tapering. Many feel that QE III will last until the end of this year and gradually begin to taper in the first quarter of 2014, if the economy dictates tightening.
President Obama commented that Fed Chairman Bernanke has stayed a lot longer than he wanted, which paves the way for a January exit when his current term ends. Vice Chairman Janet Yellen may be steeping in as the new Chairman at that time.
In economic news, inflation remained tame at the consumer level in May as evidenced by the 0.1% rise in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which was below the 0.2% expected. The Core CPI did see a slightly hotter rise of 0.2% versus the 0.1% expected, but the market didn't have much of a reaction.
Housing Starts rose by 7% in May to 914K units annualized, but below the 950K expected. Building Permits, a sign of future construction, declined by 3% to 974K units, below the 983K anticipated. S&P reported today it continues to see home prices rise, but not by double digits in 2013 and sees 1 million Housing Starts this year or a 28% gain. In 2014, S&P sees a 29% rise in Starts or 1.3 million units. Housing continues to improve and the Fed is taking this into consideration when the members discuss QE, which is partially geared towards improving the sector.
The fall below par for the 3% coupon is not a good sign, and we should remain mindful that volatility is rampant.
