Scott Koo : Well, once again I'm disappointed in my favorite hockey team (actually both of them). The Rangers played pretty solid against the Caps, but after the first game tough loss in Boston, it seemed to knock the wind out of their sails. It seemed to even take a toll on our regularly solid goalie Henrik Lundqvist. Last night it seemed like , even though they we're playing well, we might eek one out at home. But a tough 3rd period comeback squashed that. I'm just hoping we can avoid a sweep at home tomorrow night. Oh and BTW, can someone tell me when Rick Nash is going to show up and lace up his skates and start to play!!! Because if he dosen't, tell Columbus we want Dubi back and the puck bag that was part of the trade!!!!

Rick Perry : Went to see Crosby Still & Nash at the Peace Center last night. I'm going to write a blog about it. The Engineer is Kevin Madigan who is known for being real good. He was mixing on a Digico D7 which means he had tons of horsepower at his disposal. There were obvious issues with tones in vocals 3K and 5K would knock your head off and too much dynamics is the vocals. When they would all sing together it would make you cringe a little. Carefully tweaked compression or a multiband compressor could have helped this. Also the lead guitar was constantly 10db over the entire band. There was virtually no low end in the mix. You couldn't tell there was even a bass guitar or kick drum. I will post the blog soon, right now my hosting is lagging and I have to check out what the issue is.
Overall, the band was GREAT!!! The lights were great... The sound engineer was the weak link last night... So Sad :(

I still can't figure out what's the main issue in this organization and why are they having such a laughable performance at this moment.
Unlike what "the average Joe" says, i don't think that Torts is the real issue, but the GM is. It's abundantly clear that the trades involving Nash and Richards were,simply, awful and the offensive lines in this team disintegrated when Gaborik left.
I'm not questioning the ability of Rick Nash or Brad Richards, but relating their playoff performance's with the amount of cap that it's put on them, the changes that the Rangers have to execute in order to fortify their offensive lines are very restrict and useless.
Will they fire Torts ? Probably, but i still find it hard to believe that he is the real issue in this organization.
Review your lines, cap spent and strategy, and try to trade the #19 ... You might me competitive for next year ...
