In any case, it seems clear to me that He hates sin but loves sinners, as should we. And, in fact, as John the Revelator wrote, God so loved the world that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ the Savior, not to condemn us but to save us, so that we might not perish but have everlasting life. I believe that we Christians, who have devoted ourselves to serve Jesus Christ as His figurative hands, would do well to follow His perfect example in saving (not condemning) others, including by more-readily tossing figurative life preservers to sinners than throwing figurative stones at them. Besides, aren't we all sinners who fall short of God's glory, in some manner to some extent? I believe that we would similarly do well to follow the Savior's "Golden Rule" to treat others as we'd want them to treat us if our circumstances were reversed. So, if you ever catch yourself nurturing anger and/or hatred toward any of your fellow sinners, then please stop it immediately every time, and instead strive to nurture love in its place. I believe that such efforts constitute a vital part of learning to love/serve God with all our souls, and our neighbors as ourselves, which together constitute our Heavenly Father's two greatest commandments to us.

Hello all! I was sent to this page thanks to a friend of mine now that I am able to see and hear things! I was juror 17 and later on I was chosen as an alternate. I was so disappointed and upset to hear my number called after all the time and work I put into this trial! Today was a hard day for the jury but it was also a very hard day for me!! To say I am devastated is an understatement! I feel so much pain that I can't even begin to imagine what Travis's family is feeling! Although today's outcome wasn't what I wanted and probably most of you as well, I just ask that you remember we are all human and no matter which juror voted which way, it was a very hard decision for all of them! Al Owens : Well, the proposal made earlier is now official. The BSA has approved that scouting will not discriminate against those scouts and would be scouts based on sexual orientation. There was a disapproval of allowing adult scout leaders into the BSA who live an alternative lifestyle based on sexual orientation. I am a former scout. My son is a current scout. Though many are happy with the change in the policy, there are many, if not more, that are unhappy. This in my opinion questions the Scout Oath: On my honor, I'll do my best, To do my duty, To God and my country and To obey the scout law. To help other people at all times. To keep myself Physically Strong, Mentally Awake and Morally Straight. Scouting is an institution of moral values. It has been for years. Can't really say I am supportive of the new policy. I've cancelled my annual Friends of Scouting contribution based on the decision. My 11 year old son is oblivious to what is going on. My 1st instinct was to take him out of scouting. Doing this would crush him. Just need to pray on it.

Monsanto claims that GMOs are safe. This was the same comment made by the tobacco companies back in the 40s and early 50s regarding cigarette smoking

Fortunately, there have been studies done by Michael Antoniou of Earth Open Source and Dr. Giles-Eric Seralini of the University of Caan in France that say otherwise.

What Antoniou and Seralini have found is that GMOs, which are inundated with pesticides like RoundUp Ready containing glyphosate and 2-4-D, the active ingredient in Agent Orange, create numerous health problems, including birth defects, cancer, neurological imbalances, embryonic deaths, DNA damage, and fetal death. Practical Homeschooling : Hannah Vanderpool asked, "I have been homeschooling my three kids for almost eight years now. We've always had a couple of subjects we hit very intentionally while leaving most else to discovery through interest a la unschooling.

"One of the two areas where we focus with curricula is math. All three of my kids use a reliable and kid-friendly method--Math-U-See--and we are satisfied with it. And all of them seem to do well with it.

"The problem is me. My youngest daughter (9) is incredibly dreamy, unfocused, and ponderous when she sits down to do math--or anything else really. She wants me right there with her (and I have to watch her go to la-la land), and she often asks questions to problems she knows how to solve. I find myself getting irrationally irritated with her and I say the wrong things to 'encourage' her to get it together. We have tears about once every two weeks or so and I feel terrible afterwards.

"I want to poll the audience: When you know you have a pointed teaching/patience weakness that crops up over and over again, do you 1) decide not to teach the 'difficult' subject formally and thereby preserve your relationship with a particular child, or 2) forge ahead, believing formal education to be of such value that occasional tears and 'I'm sorry's' are simply the price one has to pay? Are there any other roads to travel?"
