Essex Arrows Baseball Club Essex Arrows Baseball Club : Arrows split with the Falcons on Sunday 19th of May in two close, hard fought games at The Mead in Waltham Abbey.

First game went into extra innings, tied at 6-6 at the end of 7 but the Arrows could not capitalize on the 4 run rally they had at the bottom of the 7th - Final score Falcons 9 - Arrows 6. Game two was very tight with the score 1-1 by the 5th inning but then the Arrows opened fire with the bats late on (again) to take a 4-1 lead going into the the 7th. Falcons battled back to 4-2 but with runners on 2nd and 3rd with two outs, Arrow's pitcher, Lance Louw struck out the last batter, looking. A big backwards K for the scorebook and a big win for the Arrows who now go 4-6 for the season, 5 games behind the London Mets who lead the league with an impressive 8-0 record.

Arrows had a slow start to the season, dropping winnable games to Southampton Mustangs, Essex Redbacks, Bracknell Blazers and South London Pirates, however with the momentum picking up over the past two weeks and the defence and offence improving on a weekly basis, the Arrows should be able to claw back some games over the next few weeks and move further up the National League table.

The next three games are all away, starting with Essex Redbacks on the 26th of April, Bracknell on the 2nd of May and then Harlow Nationals on the 9th of May. Then there is a week off before the Arrows travel to Feltwell Park Military base to play the Lakenheath Diamond backs followed by a trip to Finsbury Park on the 30th of June to battle it out against the Mets.

The next home game for the Arrows is against the Harlow Nationals on Sunday the 7th of July so put it in your diary and help us fill those bleachers!!

LETS GO ARROWS!!!

Bruins Word Bruins Word : New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist felt discomfort in shoulder in Game 2 loss against Boston B     UH OH NY! LOL..BOSTON -- New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist said he experienced some discomfort in his left shoulder after making a save on Boston Bruins forward Daniel Paille with 4:52 remaining in the third period of Game 2 Sunday at TD Garden.

HENRIK LUNDQVIST
GOALIE - NYR
RECORD: 4-5
GAA: 2.10 | SVP: 0.935
"It's my shoulder, we'll see," Lundqvist said following the Rangers' 5-2 loss. "We'll take a look at it."

Lundqvist stopped Paille's shot with his chest and dove on the puck in front of the crease to cover it and stop play. He stayed down briefly before getting up, then started to skate back and forth through the paint, flexing his left arm.

Officials held play for several extra seconds to let him work it out.

Lundqvist finished the game and was not wearing an ice pack when he spoke to the media afterward.

He has allowed eight goals on 80 shots in two games against the Bruins. He faced 32 shots in Game 2. The last time Lundqvist had allowed five goals in a game was March 9, 2011 at the Anaheim Ducks, a streak of 152 games.

Game 3 is Tuesday at Madison Square Garden (7:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, RDS, TSN). The Rangers trail the best-of-7 series 2-0.

After spending 7 long hours in the hot Texas sun yesterday watching my grandsons awesome baseball team take 2nd place in the Texas Metro Nations Tournament yesterday, which was way fun and exciting. By the third game it was already after 5pm and all the parents were saying how they were going to hate Monday morning when they had to get up early and go to work and I proudly said "I love retirement, I can sleep in and be lazy". I've been up since 6am. Thank you Thomas Coleman for waking me up, lol. Love that guy too much.

David C. Shorter David C. Shorter : THIS WEEK...7 TESTS OF KNOWING GOD

Test 1 Keeping God’s Commandments 1 John 2:3-6 (NASB)

3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. (not just the ones we like – but ALL)
4 The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
QUESTION: then what is his motivation?

5 but whoever keeps His word, in him (Don’t forget that salvation is always a HEART issue – who has your heart?) the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:
6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

QUESTION: Why do we TALK a better game than we PLAY?

Andrew Stolfi Andrew Stolfi : I've recently finished watching the anime series Sword art online and I must say that i was very disappointed in it. First few episodes where great and set up a very interesting story. Then about 6-7 throw away episodes and then a very unsatisfying resolution just to introduce a new game and villain. For such a great concept it could have been great but in the end was just garbage. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Subtract 7 from the Bulls score still win. Add serfonators try and it makes up the 7. Subtract 7 from rebels, still kore than stormers. Do not tell me you cant just do that because if that hadnt taken place the game would have restarted differently etc etc because you all dismiss that same theory when it suits you. If the stormers took all the kickable penalties they would win. And if they didnt hold players back.

Shanu Joy Krishnan Shanu Joy Krishnan : Here's another bus story of mine.

So today, I waited for bus since 6:30 and only got one at 7:30. As soon as I entered the bus, a lady gave me a seat cuz she's going to get down soon. I sat happily and listened to mix.fm. And then I saw this old lady coming up, so I squeezed myself to the side to let her sit. But as soon as she turned to me, this smelly Malay butthole ran and squeezed himself there!!! He was playing some retarded card game on his Ipad and slowly, he shaked his leg, closer and closer to me. Irritated, I squeezed myself more inside and guess what this smelly piece of shit did?! He slided more toward me and started rubbing his arms on mine! I got so effin pissed off *Thank GOD I didn't curse him loudly*, stood up, excused myself in a stern voice and stood behind, muttering ''asshole''. The good part? Everyone stared at him instead of me.

Why do guys like this even exist in this world? I swear your future daughter will face this kind of situation too, later in your life and lets see how you react when you hear this from her. Useless piece of shit.

Dwayne DeShun Traylor Dwayne DeShun Traylor : Microsoft's Windows Blue becomes 8.1, will be delivered for free     All the yapping... windows 8 is fine... if people want the windows 7 feel then stick with windows 7.Windows 8 largest problem, bar none, is the gamer has been totally locked out of the scheme of things.... many games do work in windows 8 as is, many more work when people actually read installation notes and install the game with the compatibility set for them age old ancient games they are trying to load up.... but the main fact is ONLINE games and a butt load of the most played Lan Games can not play. The issue is not that of Microsoft... the problem is the game makers that just can not muster the cash to keep their products in evolution mode to keep pace with microsoft.... When a game do not play or even install the problem is that of the game not having what is needed to function in the Windows 8 Enviornment. That means the Games need to get upgraded so they will function..... OR like many think Microsoft should chisel down their product so 20 year old games will still work in the latest operating system. So to all those that think Microsoft should open up security within Microsoft to not only allow Ancient and mis managed game companies, games to run, then do not complaint when the same old shit happens.... The catch is to complaint to the game makers and tell them how their game sucks because they have not offered an update that will allow what you bought to play in Windows 8. Kudos to Microsoft in my book they know what they are doing and the shit is plenty good if you know how to really use a computer. I am quite sure Game companies had plenty of time to submit necessary files and games to Microsoft to assure they would not be left behind when windows 8 hit. Well Windows 8 hit and many games are locked out because they figured let people moan and Microsoft will fix it... Backward as hell but it may have worked again....

Dan Fenech Dan Fenech : What looked as if the Tigers were going to split the series in Texas turned out to be another loss.
Miguel Cabrera had a monster of a night hitting 3 homeruns and driving in 5 runs going 4 for 4 and the Tigers still lost.
Doug Fister had a good start but was knocked out in the fifth with a 4-1 lead giving up 4 runs and leaving the game behind 5-4. He was relieved by Downs who finally got them out of the inning.
The Tigers however came back to take the lead back 7-5 and then it looked as if they were going to close this one out. No, No, No...... here come the Rangers! Scoring 6 more runs and beat the Tigers 11-8. In the lead with two men on and a 3-2 count, reliever Ortega gave up a 3 run homer to Dale Murphy that put them up to stay.
Along with an error and about 4 botched plays by the Tiger defense this game should have been in the win column.
The Tigers now travel to Cleveland to play two with the Indians who have a two game lead over the Tigers. Max and Justin will be on the hill for the Tigers. Go Tigers!

Did you say playoffs? Well if you did you would be right!
The Wings host the Blackhawks tonight in game three of round two of the playoffs!
It would be nice to see another good effort from the Wings tonight to put them up in the series. It will take another stellar effort by Howard and the defense to hold off, which will be the pissed off Hawks. Go Wings!

The sucky list......
Tiger
Rodman
Ficano
The government
New Jersey
Florida
Tigers in general
Tiger reliever Ortega.......boom!
