Trinity Life Support Ministry : In my quiet time (or not so quiet time) with the Lord this morning I felt Him impressing this on my heart. "If My people will seek My face and stop being afraid to come into my presence, they will see manifestations and miraculous things happen!"

So my question to you is this, what have you been waiting for? Sometimes we don't pray and seek God because we are afraid of His response. I have done this in the past, there would be something plaguing me and I would be unsure of what I should do but I wouldn't pray and ask God about it because deep down inside I wanted to do what I wanted to do and didn't want to hear what He had to say. Afraid that if He spoke contrary to my plans that I would be in sin if I carried them out anyways because now without a shadow of a doubt I heard from God. (Has anybody been there?)

We have to stop seeking God in all the wrong places or trying to have a relationship with God based on someone else's relationship with Him. Nothing should be taking the place of YOUR 1 on 1 time with the Lord! No devotions, no shows, not even someone else's ministry (including this one). It's ok to like something and allow it to supplement you spiritually but when that thing starts to take the place of your intimate time with God it's time to get some things in order!! Seek the Lord's face and see what He is saying to you in this hour!

Jigsaw Ministries : Praise God. Amazing answer to pray. My little grandson Isaac aged 4 was destined by the local authority to attend a local primary school with Autism and a lot of complex medical needs including fibromatosis type 1 causing brain tumours. He cannot communicate or walk up and down stairs without support. He is also incontinent. After christians and the professional people assisiting the family, the local authority contacted my daughter this morning to offer Isaac a placement in an excellent special needs school. ... you'll be sure of a good surprise! There are a few few Oxfams in Cambridge. Regular Sainsbury's goers might know the Oxfam Bookshop between the supermarket and Waterstones but there is also one in the Grafton Centre and near Maudlin Bridge.

It's pretty obvious why Oxfam is an inspiring place: from the people volunteering their time for good causes to loads of Fairtrade goodies for sale and the ability to give clothes and books a new lease of life.

I personally love going to the shop for its cards. (1.) They're good value. I am often AMAZED at how much you can be charged for a card - but at Oxfam they have a really good range around the £2 zone (2.) They're really nice cards! Not the tacky, naff ones you might stereotypically imagine charity shops to hold (3.) Every card you buy helps raise money for Oxfam - many cards are even made by people across the developing world. So not only are making someone smile by giving them a card, you are donating to charity at the same time! So who said being ethical was hard?

I have found that sitting back praying to God is GOOD, but for me personally I have been TAUGHT & TRAINED by the Holy Spirit that I MUST do my part & meet him 1/2 way. I must put in the blood, sweat & tears & PROVE my Loyalty & my LOVE for HIM is genuine & TRUE & then HE WILL COME THROUGH. Mom & I took a LEAP of FAITH 2 years ago & those 2 years have been HELL. But, God MOVED that mountain yesterday & we are MOVING.....from Surviving into THRIVING!
