Brain Candy : “You’re too quiet.”

This comment and others like it have plagued me almost all my life. I don’t know how many times I’ve been told that I needed to come out of my shell, to be livelier, or to talk more.

As a child and teenager, I allowed these remarks to hurt me deeply. I was already shy, but I became even more self-conscious as I was constantly aware of people waiting for me to speak. When I did, the response was often, “Wow! Louise said something!”

This would make me just want to crawl back into my shell and hide. I became more and more reserved. The older I got, the angrier I became. Each time someone told me I was “too quiet,” I wondered what exactly they were hoping to achieve anyway. Did they imagine I had a magic button I could press that would turn me into Miss Showbiz?

If only it were that simple, I thought. I felt I should be accepted as I was, but apparently that wasn’t going to happen. There was only one thing for it; I would have to become the extrovert the world wanted me to be, but how?

Rocky Valdez : Well yesterday @ the discovery museum it went well. The good news and the bad news, the good news it went great there was a little girl there and it was her 1st time @ a magic show i thot tht was awesome i told her i will do my best 2 impress her and she said ive been impress so far so i thot tht was cool, and azura got 2 b my assistant and she did a great job. A few of the guest had a close call as Germany had a strike at the airport and not wanting to miss the wedding hired a private jet to get the to Malaga now that’s friends for you!!!
Finishing doing all the hair and makeup for her guests we moved onto Kristel our and her bridal hair was big loose curls with eye make up strong and a light gloss on her lips beautiful and perfect for a beach wedding. As we left the photography Agata Jensen agatajensen.com was working there magic a lovely wedding with memory forever captured, cant wait to see the photos.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day
a small opening appeared, he sat and
watched the butterfly for several hours as it
struggled to force its body through that little
hole.

Then it seemed to stop making any progress.
It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it
could and it could go no farther. Then the
man decided to help the butterfly, so he took
a pair of scissors and snipped off the
remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly
then emerged easily.

But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled
wings. The man continued to watch the
butterfly because he expected that, at any
moment, the wings would enlarge and
expand to be able to support the body, which
would contract in time.

Neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life
crawling around with a swollen body and
shriveled wings.

It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did
not understand was that the restricting
cocoon and the struggle required for the
butterfly to get through the tiny opening
were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body
of the butterfly into its wings so that it would
be ready for flight once it achieved its
freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we
need in our life. If God allowed us to go
through our life without any obstacles, it
would cripple us. We would not be as strong
as what we could have been.

And we could never fly.

Sean Ohlman : So the new song " Rise Up " which we are finally releasing tomorrow- is the best quality recording we have ever done, despite dealing with perhaps the worst producer of all -time. The truth is, the delays and problems we endured, made this a better song than it would have been if we had finished the song with the first producer. We heard constant lies, delaying tactics,and outright theft of services from a deceitful person ! We as a band worked to be patient and understanding with this person.After 6 weeks he finally told us that he lost our vocal tracks.When we requested the tracks that he had for the instruments, and one vocal track, he said he would not give then to us, and we should take him to court.After much conversation , he finally sent tracks that were mixed down with the one vocal track, so that we could not change any levels when we were ready to add the new vocal tracks. But thanks to Gabe , we were led to an awesome producer, who did magic with the new tracks that we added, and the song turned out incredibly well. We have learned so much from this experience, not the least of which proof of the biblical verse " all things work together for good to those who love God "! We also have become much closer as a band.When you first hear this song, please remember the journey it took to get to your computer. Please enjoy our newborn baby song, we are so grateful to finally present her to the world.
