Woods Xc Racing : Another night of track work completed, broke out the bobcat and made a couple jumps in some field sections which will make for some great spectator spots not too far from the pits. Also have a small creek jump on the far lower side of the property with a go around for the less daring. Still working on adding more trail so we don't have a complete mileage yet. Micki Strickland : We have had so many critters in our yard this summer. Aside from the birds, rabbits and squirrels, we have seen several deer, 2 raccoons, 2 young foxes, a bobcat, and a coyote. Gracie loves to chase the "company" away. I had to put her training collar back on so she'd stay and protect me! ;)

Renee Potts : ok! Soooooo I had an encounter with a BOBCAT tonight - that's right a BOBCAT!!! He was coming right toward me! We saw each other and stopped dead in our tracks! I then did the one thing you are not supposed to do - RUN!!! He came after me (not in full speed) but then lost interest. I could hardly breathe I was so scared!!! The authorities think either he was sick - maybe rabid (very doubtful)but more likely being fed by someone. Either way they said I was lucky. YIKERS!!!!!!!

Gina M. Danaher : I am outside in my coop. I have candles burning all over my lot. Lights in the darkness. I know that everyone else in this neighborhood is watching the Blackhawks, but since it is so quiet, the Hawks must be having a hard time with the Bruins. Still, I think, the Hawks have a better chance of defeating the Bruins than I have of defeating Peter Rabbit who stripped my bean plants of all leaves and decimated my about-to-bloom eggplant today - right under my nose. I literally spent the entire day constructing a fence around the entire perimeter of the garden. This year's crop of bunnies is on steroids.

I have pics from last weekend i will post ASAP.
We have the bobcat and operator going on the second week.
There was no burning today due to the rain but the soil was soft
eleminating dust and making it easier for Pete to rip the undergrowth up in short order.
We are in "hunting the hunter" mode here.
We lost 5 eggs in the laying box 3 nights ago, then on the return visit night before last lost a chicken with head and wing gone.
Last night lost 1 egg and it moved the ceramic (fake) egg out of the nesting box,
gave up and went away.
Tonight it will find Horses, Dogs, Goats, surrounding the hen house. Tomorrow I won't be working on the land and I can focus on predator prevention. Who am I kidding it's predator eradication with extreme duress...
OK, I rolled out at 4:30AM, worked all day it's 9:00PM .... I'm done ...

I have considered myself gay for about 13 years now. However, over the last few years, I have found myself increasingly attracted to women. I'm still attracted to men and consider myself fully pan-sexual. The thing is, I've yet to be with a woman, so it's hard to really know for sure. Even though I've had many relationships with men, and am pretty confident in my attractiveness, there is still a part of my brain that says, "Oh, girls would never be attracted to me. I'm not manly enough." I secretly feel that girls would be grossed out by the sex I've had with men and immediately lose interest.
