Brian Volkmuth : For the last several months I have been a member of a large committee at St Cloud Technical and Community College working on a project called Orion. There are two parts to Orion and the fist was held yesterday. Dr Adam Steltzner, is the inspiration behind President Joyce Helens vision of the Orion Summit and Academy. Dr Steltzner, like myself, was completely disinterested in school albeit for different reasons. We were both told by a number of people that we were not college material and as such probably would have careers involving shovels and lots of sun. In Dr. Steltzner's case it was looking up at the stars and noticing that they were not in the same place (he again like I, did not pay much attention to what was taught at school) they were when he went into the bar where is band was playing when they came out. He got curious and checked into an astronomy class at his local community college in California. Today, he is the lead scientist and project lead for the Mars Opportunity rover. Dr Steltzner share this story with the 100+ 10th and 11th graders from 3 local high schools yesterday at the first Orion Summit. Our goal is to light that spark that reengages them in school, lights the spark and dream of completing college and a life with endless possibilities. It is President Helens' hope that this Orion concept can grow beyond our little college and I think it was really cool to be a part of it.

RIP Woolwich Soldier : I see the page has been reported in the national press, first of all its fantastic so many people have liked the page to send their condolences to the hero who lost his life yesterday.

Secondly remarks have been made regards links to the EDL due to there page being ONE of the pages liked from this page. The Three Percenter's Club : At first I thought I wouldnt say anything but then I thought otherwise. On a page with nearly 20k members claiming to be patriots and Christians, I made a post asking you to help put together some aide for the people of Moore, OK. That post got 40 likes and 1 comment. The disappointment I am feeling right now makes me seriously doubt the resolve of the American people. I know times are hard for all of us, money is tight. I personally sent $100.00 to the group I suggested. I know MGIII made a much larger donation. With 19,280 of us here imagine if we had each put up 5 dollars thats nearly 100,000. Shame on us all.

In Glasgow I got a chicken tikka kebab with salad and a coke. The Islamic gentleman who served me made my Naan bread from scratch in front of me, he slightly over-cooked it and the edges were a bit dark and crispy, he looked genuinely gutted with himself and offered to make me a new one. I however, like my Naan bread a bit charred so I thanked him, gave him a tip, shook his hand and bid him farewell...

Fanuel Tazvida, best known as System Tazvida, was a Zimbabwean musician very popular in his home country mainly in the 1990s, though not as well known internationally. Tazvida wrote and performed songs mainly in his native Shona tongue.

Tazvida was best known for his hits Anodyiwa Haataure and Mushandi Ndimambo. However, it was his 1993 hit Rudo Tsika Nemagariro which propelled him to national stardom.
Tazvida had played with various bands including the Khiama Boys, the Mabhauwa Express and the Sungura Boys before he formed the Chazezesa Challengers. The Challengers included his brother Peter on bass, a former member of Nyami Nyami Sounds, guitarist LeeRoy Lunga, who had played with the Super Sounds and the Kasongo Band, and Lucky Mumiriki as percussionist, who had played with the Hurungwe Sounds and the Sungura Boys.

The band blended elements of sungura, jazz, South African mbaqanga and traditional music. They recorded several successful albums in the mid-to-late 1990s, their first being Rudo Tsika Nemagariro, which sold more than 20,000 copies. Their album Mutunhu Unemago sold more than 30,000 copies. Popular songs included Anodyiwa Haature, Mabhauwa, and Vaforomani. They were also popular in Mozambique, and toured there.
