John Finken : I understand God made many different cultures with many different languages. That makes it hard enough for everyone to communicate with each other. But I don't understand why the English language has to have homonyms, a group of words that share the same spelling and or the same pronunciation but have different meanings like break-brake, mean-mean, cell-sell, bark-bark and buy-by. Plus why are there synonyms, more than one word for the same meaning Words like perplexing = confusing or angry = mad. There are many of these. Why make it confusing? I think one word for every meaning and one meaning for every word would make any language easier to learn and understand. Then we also add dirty words that can have many many different meanings, depending on the circumstances it could be good or bad. I won't even get started on slang! Some people think I'm just and drummer, but I think about things outside of music. No I don't, lol. I'm just trying to make it look that way on FB.

Interesting notes... On this day in 1447 B.C., the Israelites were given the Ten Commandments. In 850 BC, Joel said that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would be the last great sign of salvation until the end of time. Joel said that all God's people would see themselves as prophets (receiving God's Word to share it).
In 615 BC, Jeremiah spoke of the New Covenant where God's desires would be written on hearts, not stone.
Other interesting notes. Pentecost was an Israelite Harvest festival. Jesus rose on the first day of firsfruits of this Harvest celebration. The first crop harvested was given to the Lord on the day that Christ rose. Then after 50 days, the harvest was completed with Thanksgiving. Ceremonially, this showed the SEED of the WORD goes out into the world so that SOULS might be gathered up TOGETHER to the LORD now and at the end of time.

Maria Domenica Merola : Double Portion Inheritance: The Wine of the Covenant & Speaking with New Tongues Elohiym makes a distinction between the “tongues of men” and “the tongues of angels.” One is earthly and one is heavenly:

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

The fact that the word “unknown” is in italics in the KJV, does not change the fact that Yah is telling us that this is an “unknown” tongue. It is unknown to mankind. He even explains that speaking in an unknown tongue is an intimate language unto Elohiym---not unto men! He says “for no man understands him.” If a man could understand him it would be an earthly language:

1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 14:2 For he that speaks in an (unknown) tongue speaks not unto men, but unto Elohiym: for no man understands him; howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

Since the Apostles were being accused of being drunk, this tells us that they were speaking in a strange tongue not known to mankind. If it was an earthly language, nobody would have thought they were drunk.
