"Because the jury in the Jodi Arias murder trial was hung, Arias will remain as a closed custody inmate in the Maricopa County Sheriff's Estrella Jail. Arias has been in Sheriff Arpaio's care and custody for five years and will stay with MCSO until the judicial system renders a final conclusion as to her fate. As a closed custody inmate, Arias remains in her 7x11 cell for 23 hours a day and Arpaio will no longer permit Arias to give media interviews."

I feel better today.......much better than yesterday about the verdict. I hope the jurors come back today 'rested' and with a new sense of VICTORY in whatever decision they make. I feel like they are a very serious jury......a dedicated jury.....and I do believe with all my heart that after rendering two very, very difficult verdicts of guilty against Jodi.....that they will be able to reach a unanimous verdict, regardless of their choice.

I can't imagine a jury that has been together for five months to throw in the towel and hand it over to a completely new jury after they've put in all this time and energy for this trial. That is my hope in my heart today.

As we enter into the second day of deliberation, please continue to lift up prayers for the Alexander family. I believe that Travis is here in spirit....I don't believe he will be able to rest in peace until he sees justice at it's best. And it is past time to let this wonderful man......have the peace he was not granted on his last day on this earth.

Please light a candle in memory of Travis. In the first box, put Justice for Travis and in the second your initials and in the third JJF (for Joey Jackson Fans). You can light as many as you want....they will go out after 48 hours. Join me and let's get our numbers back up there......light a candle for the verdict to be for justice of Travis.

In Glasgow I got a chicken tikka kebab with salad and a coke. The Islamic gentleman who served me made my Naan bread from scratch in front of me, he slightly over-cooked it and the edges were a bit dark and crispy, he looked genuinely gutted with himself and offered to make me a new one. The State vs Jodi Arias ~ Travis Alexander murder trial : Two hours into deliberation Wednesday, the Jodi Arias jury informed Maricopa Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens that it was unable to reach a unanimous decision on whether to sentence Arias to death or life in prison.

The judge gathered the jury in the court room and read them a standard instruction, asking them to deliberate further.

The jury sent a handwritten note on an official question form to the judge. It said: "If the jury is unable to come to a unanimous decision @ this stage, do we notify the judge of this on the form (verdict) or do we just tell the judge her instruction on the bottom P. 10 on the final jury Instruction-Penalty phase?"

The State vs Jodi Arias ~ Travis Alexander murder trial : I just got a message from Travis's close friend saying that they are all (family included) upset, but hold out hope that the Jury will return with Death.

In the meantime, remember, this has happened in many DP cases. In those cases the jury returned with Death.
