Michael Fairview : As much of a fan as I am of NASA, I do believe that the agency's days are numbered. I think that no longer will the US government consider space exploration a worth wild endeavor. Shame, really. The special interest groups MUST get their return investments.
What these near sighted individuals do not consider is that Space Exploration has many rewards than simply boosting someone's stock opinions. It's so much more. We humans have always been explorers. If not, our species would still be in the trees of Eastern Africa. We branched out, exploring Asia, Europe, and centuries later the Americans and Australia. Space is our next great endeavor. The 1960s got that part right, at least for a while. Oh by the way, YES WE WENT TO THE MOON. I got tons of data that trumps our wonky theory about a flag moving funny.
I stated in my first paragraph that NASA is no longer up to the challenge...so maybe we should turn our attention to the private corporations like Virgin Galactic and SpaceX. Already, the Dragon capsule has made un-piloted flights to ISS and it could easily carrying a human crew.
My point to this drunken ramble, which I am very good at by the way, is to state that Space Exploration is needed. We craved it, and if the government wants to penny pinch, then let the private corps take over.
By the way...I am for hire as an astronaut. 4 hours ago - View -
I track fireworks and bomb related events around the world, yet I never see cases coming from indigenous people in Africa. Asians, Europeans, and others go crazy with fireworks, but I do not see it in Africa.
I was talking with a film producer the other day, who happens also to study this. He too has found nothing from Africa.
Do you? If so, please be specific on the country and culture so that I can look into this.

Gary Maxie : International Space Station switches from Windows to Linux, for improved reliability | ExtremeTech Anyone running Windows XP; Take NASA and International Space Station's advice Go Linux: "To be honest, we shouldn’t be too surprised at the ditching of Windows. Linux is the scientific community’s operating system of choice. CERN’s Large Hadron Collider is controlled by Linux. NASA and SpaceX ground stations use Linux. DNA-sequencing lab technicians use Linux. Really, for applications that require absolute stability, which most scientific experiments are, Linux is the obvious choice. The fact that the entire OS is open source and can be easily customized for each experiment is obviously a very big draw, too. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/155392-international-space-station-switches-from-windows-to-linux-for-improved-reliability 9 hours ago - View -
Howarde Williams : To anyone I know that may have sat through or actually listened to my sober and/or drunken tirades about NASA training and consulting for commercial Space Programs (something I've thought and screamed about, all throbbing neck-veins, crazy-eyes, and spittle-spraying, for at least the last two decades) I tell you "It DOES work to scream good ideas at the ancients in the ether, for they will listen."
You want proof, you say?
I give you the SNC (Sierra Nevada Corporation) Dreamchaser, and the SpaceX Dragon, as well as some homework- Look up NASA's Commercial Crew Program (CCP) and Commercial Crew Integration Capability (CCiCap) programs.

This is akin to forcing food trucks to have a brick and mortar location in order to be allowed to exist.

So this is the GOP at its finest: they demand less government control, but not really, that is a total ruse. Sen. Tom Apodaca received $8,000 in campaign contributions from the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association last year. Dan Sweigert : Why should the US have a robust space program, isn't it just a waste of money? Here are some reasons: 1. How many thousands of scientists got into their fields because of the moon landing and can anyone even count the number of innovative technologies, cures for diseases and other benefits that have come from their work? (that's a rhetorical question), 2. Those innovations save lives, 3. Those innovations create jobs, 4. Those innovations generate profits which increase tax revenues; and this is just the short list! You've got to spend money to make money. I'd rather our country be a leader than a follower. 15 hours ago - View -

However, in the comments section there is the dumbest comment (and that's saying something since it's Yahoo) I have ever read. It basically said that we could reach other planets if we stop paying actors and athletes millions of dollars. Okay...what in the hell do actors and athletes have to do with space exploration? Does NASA pay their salaries all the sudden? Does Galactic Virgin or SpaceX pay for their endorsements? NO! I swear I think that these are Yahoo writers who put crap like that on their site just to get people talking, because nobody could be that far out there. grumble!! 20 hours ago - View -

Empat tahun setelah mereka mencetak sukses dengan album studio ketiga mereka "This Is War", 30 Seconds to Mars kembali mendominasi chart.
Berputar di sekitar tema nama albumnya, LP nya dibagi menjadi empat segmen, "Up in the Air" terpilih sebagai single pertama.

Mac Camp : its obvious the ballot box no longer works for our nation
tesla motors, solar city, and sPACEX may have bilked american taxpayers out of billions in political kickbacks for being an obama big donor, but eventually it will end, but not well.
Bankruptcy expertes will hang around with promise after promise that the steady drain of dollars will come to a halt, and that government loans are being paid back with phony stock IPO's where vast P R Stunts get the unwary investor to give them money, but after 11 years, and lost billions, while making near 4,000 actual ev's " BRICKS " called green cars when reality has it that the cars are powered by coal fired power plants, and run on lithium ion laptop batteries, which all swell up and need to be replaced unless you forget to keep the battery charged at all times, which will make them fail sooner, costing almost as much as the car.
HIGH CRIME, TREASON, THEFT, PHONY EV MARKET, WHEN WILL IT END ??? when barry parts ways with america and stops giving american taxpayer cash to the bankruptcy expert elon who will hang around until such time as no more cash can be jacked from america, then like his political kickback obamonomics he will slink off into whereer it is slime goes to, generally down hill but with all the missing cash, he will join his butties, the elitest who control our nation, until our youths rising anarchy remove them from our nation, and hopefully the world 1 day ago - View -
