Attention Parent:
This is to let you know that we have pushed the start date for the CSU Summer Algebra Institute back to Monday, June 24th to allow for more applicants. If you have or know a Fall Grade 6 thru 9 youth that needs additional math help this summer in his or her pre-algebra or algebra, please consider this program and inform parents that you know about this. I have attached a copy of the revised SAI Schedule and the field trip schedule as well.

Interested Parents should come into the office Monday thru Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. to register your youth. Please bring your youth so that they can complete the diagnostic testing and you can compete all consent paperwork as well. Note: We will have orientation on Monday, June 24th at 5:30 p.m. in the large assembly area of the West Angeles Youth Center.

The program itself consists of 72 hours of math classroom and supervised exercise enrichment, 2 great parent college prep meetings, 2 great college field trips and pre- and post- course enrichment testing and analysis all for only $80. Parents are welcomed to make arrangements to pay this in installments. The program is funded by CSU and has the purpose of increasing math readiness and success in CSU and other colleges. An important part of our program is providing college admissions prep support for parents.
In view of the above, I look forward to your support in getting more youth into this program this coming week.
