Deon Binneman
Deon Binneman : The field of Crisis Management is forever evolving with new risks, technologies, tools and advice emerging all the time. Just think about Ebola and the missing Flight MH370 at this time.

As a custodian of your organisation’s reputation, your ability to guide and navigate your company’s response through a crisis will be seriously tested. A Crisis has the potential to not only destroy corporate and brand reputation but also individual reputations as well.

In today’s interconnected economy, incidents and deeds happen and information about it spread in real-time. Companies who want to prepare for the speed at which things are happening, will have to embrace real-time thinking and attitudes and set themselves up to respond to a many types of crises in nano-seconds.

From the 28th – 29th October I will facilitate an event at the Apollo Hotel in Randburg entitled Nano-seconds Crisis Response. This workshop will be an intensive 2-day in-depth look at Crisis Management & Crisis Communication in a digital, always-on world. The focus will be on real-time or nano-seconds crisis response and it will definitely enhance your understanding, knowledge, awareness and thinking about crisis management.

The workshop will review the tried and tested methodologies of Crisis Management and Crisis Communication and will incorporate best practice thinking from the fields of Crisis Management, Crisis Communication, PR, Emergency Response, Social Media and Strategic Planning.
