Louis Riley III : Well, it appears to be in Gods will that the city of Harrisburg has a new Mayor. Congratulations to Eric Papenfuse for winning the democratic nomination for office. I know that a lot of inner city constituents voted for him based on what he has promised to do. I hope he does most of it...some of it he can't do because the mayor has nothing to do with the school district. It has been my experience that people who are about the community are about the community even before they run for office. Like coach Chisolm for the packers...Like Aaron Johnson Moself baseball. Like Coach Cambell uptown. Like Sherman and many others. I have not witnessed Democratic Nominee Papenfuse in no way shape or form in my community up until he ran for office. He is a millionaire that doesn't sponsor a baseball team or any other for that matter. He hasn't volunteered anytime at any inner city functions. He isn't on any commitees that serve the purpose of enhancing the quality of life in the inner city. He has a million dollar book business that hasn't donated a single book to the school district to enhance the quality of life for my children. His book store does not spnsor a G.E.D program and is open most nights until 10 pm. I just hope we haven't been hoodwinked into thinking that someone who hasn't up until this point, done anything to have a positive effect on my community, will all of a sudden if put in office will bend over backwards to get the city back on track 1 day ago - View -
I Love Immigrants : Two nutters with knives don't represent two billion Muslims, just as one baying EDL crowd without brains does not represent seventy million Britons. Keep calm and love thy neighbour. 2 days ago - View -
