Prayers for Lane Goodwin : Thank you to everyone that left kind post today. Very saddened by some of the negative comments that were left earlier. Actually shocked that others would advise me to forget about Lane because I have another son or that Landen will resent me because I have moments of great sadness. My training as a child's mental health therapist and my belief in God greatly prepared me for everything that our family deals with "God had a plan". I will NEVER forget about my son. If you haven't been on this journey it's very difficult to relate and I hope none of you ever are! But unfortunately some of you are and will be :( Our family talks openly about our emotions and always will. Landen knows he is #1 in our lives. He is a very happy and active child and he will be a very emotionally healthy man one day. He will not grow up being told not to cry or told to hide his emotions. Kids that are, grow up only knowing how to express anger. We are not a depressed or an angry family! However, we do have moments that are difficult. The pain is difficult but you learn to live with it. We take the pain and we fight for all the other kids! My "meltdowns" normally consist of tears pouring down my face and my heart aching. Again, thank you to everyone that left supportive comments because that is what our family and every other family on this journey needs.

Tripp Halstead Updates : Stacy: Tripp is doing good even though he threw up again today in the car on the way home from therapy. Thank goodness mom was with us and a quick thinker, she managed to keep his car seat and my car clean. His poor shirt was another story, so instead of putting him on a new shirt since we were so close to home, I let him go all redneck on me. No shirt, no shoes and He still looked so adorable. So we called the dr and they said to go back to strictly J tube feelings for a few days. We will see what happens. We never see it coming and he is always fine after the fact. Weird. But he worked hard in therapy so he has been resting most of the afternoon. I am helping mom do laundry and all that non fun stuff. I snuck off to write this post, it is more fun than cleaning. Ha ha. Well, Tripp is snoozing and smiling so sweet in his sleep. I am so proud of him for doing so good. Well, I better get back at it. Thank you for all your prayers! Love you all.

Valerie Peyton Stevens : Just back from the Dr. All I can say is that God was good to me today! No liver scarring or damage. Just have to really change my lifestyle. No more messing around after this health scare!! I am not ashamed to say that I cried when we got the good news, Tony even looked a little misty. When I left there I went into the restroom and raised my hands and praised Him with tears Of thanks & joy streaming down my face!! I sincerely want to thank all of you that have been praying for me and with me! What a weight off my shoulders!!! Shew!!!!!

maajorchapori, lakhimpur. on the bus, i met a girl. a beautiful mising
(tribe in Assam) girl. i fell in love wid
her at first sight. we talked. there
was no cellphone back then. so i took
her address. she was staying in
guwahati and studying in cotton college. 3 months later, we were in a
relationship. we loved each other a
lot. everything was going well. our
marriage was also fixed. but , exactly
5 days before the wedding, she was
killed in an accident. today is her 20th death anniversary. if she were
alive, 6 days layer we would have
celebrated our 20th wedding
anniversary. but, that was not
supposed to be i guess. i didn get
married after that. but i adopted two beautiful kids. dey r 17 years old nw.
wen i see them, i see a reflection of
her in them. i just want to say that, i
will love you, till my last breath

Tripp Halstead Updates : Stacy: Well I wish I had better news, Tripp is still struggling today. Meds or a bath didn't relax him. He is still arching and moaning. We are at therapy now and considering how bad he feels, he is actually doing pretty good. The are using a big exercise ball to lean him on and making him lift his head and he is doing it. Then they were making grunting noises and he was copying them. On another note, Bill and I have spent the past two days opening our mail. We only get it every week or two, so there is always a lot when we wait that long, plus as I have said before, we read every card we get. You guys are so sweet. Tripp got some amazing gifts. A lighting McQueen life jacket, some super cute clothes, a framed picture of some sweet people from WI wearing team boom shirts. A super T Tripp shirt he is wearing today, will post a picture after therapy. I got a beautiful necklace. It is so fun to open the boxes. And so heart warming to read all the cards. I love the little kids that draw pictures for tripp and that you guys include pictures of your family so i can put a face with the name. He always gets some cool lighting McQueen toys too. I wish I could send everyone a personal thank you card, but I wouldn't have any time for Tripp. He had moved from OT to feeding therapy. They aren't ready to give him food yet, but they are stimulating his mouth with a cold spoon. He is being extremely vocal today. He is grunting and moaning, I think he is trying to tell them he is done! Well we are almost done here so I gotta go, thank you for all your prayers!!!

Naghmeh Abedini : Update on Saeed: Saeed's family got to visit him at Evin Prison today since he has now been released from solitary confinement. He said he felt many praying and the time in solitary was a time of intimacy with God. He said when he came out the other prisoners said he was glowing! He was filled with more joy and peace after solitary than going in!!! All of the prisoners were shocked at the change! This is because of your prayers! Thank you! I will provide more updates as I get them. Please continue to pray for his health and his internal bleeding. He has not been treated yet.
