Jayne Denham : I might get in trouble for writing this.....but if you don't ask you don't recieve.
The Legend Lee Kernagan just went GOLD with his latest Album. That is 35,000 album sales, what awesome news for Lee and Aussie country music I am proud of him!!
It made me think, for me to ever get close to GOLD there is only 1 thing I need. For all of you to go buy RENEGADE and not burn it or rip it! Then tell everyone to get it if you love it.
This will help me be able to Tour more and keep making records like Lee for many years to come. It really is that simple.
I am humbled to have even got this far with my music but I recon it's time to make a bigger noise and this is only possible with your help. Lets go for GOLD.

Susan Squires Walford : Wednesday june 12, 2013, is a milestone year in Kathy Bukovy's life. 35 years ago today she started her career at mcDonald's, working the front counter, eventually becoming the community relations representative. Over the years she has been involved in numerous fundraising events, won many awards of which she is extremely proud and was one of the few chosen to represent Mcdonald's at the 2010 olympics in Vancouver. Kathy has also been known as the voice of Mcdonald's in Thunder Bay, whether it is Mchappy Day, the Golf tournament benefitting Ronald Mcdonald House or other events throughout our city. When one thinks of her achievements and all the countless hours of hard work, you can't help but admire, respect and be in awe of her. you might even take a minute to smile. As kathy embarks on a new chapter in her life as 2nd Assistant Manager at the Memorial Avenue Mcdonald's, feel free to come by, say hi and congratulate her on a successful 35 years. Thanks again kathy for a job well done!!!! 7 days ago - View -

Stacey DanteJer-KyalTyla Kelly-Greenup : How amazing is this Gold Telethon... The SCH is such a welcoming, comfortable and miraculous place. My nephew has only just gone home gyre having major surgery at not even 3 months old.. From going from the NICU on life Support to going back to the ward 3 days later then another surgery how many days after that.. And he's gone home now!! The workers do their absolute best for patients and their families whilst on their stays or visits there. 9 days ago - View -
We got the results back from the rapid genetic test today and all results were normal.
What this means is that Nixon probably does not have Trisomy 13, 18 or 21 and the sex chromosomes are normal. Trisomy 21 is Down Syndrome so we are most likely out of the woods on that front.
Now they send the sample down for the full battery of genetic testing just to make sure that there isn't anything else genetic going on.
We are very relieved to be able to share this news and it puts a silver lining on the fact that I have to head home tonight.
Nikki is in very good hands both at BC Women's hospital and with the staff and other families at Ronald McDonald House BC so I feel a lot better about leaving than I did a couple of days ago.
Thank you SO much to everyone who has helped us out over the last few weeks. It's been a whirlwind and your love and support has meant the world to my family. We have a long road yet to go, but we'll get there. 12 days ago - View -

Kenny McKirouac : So, I had lunch downstairs at Mickey D’s today, and the place was so frikkin’ busy that after I ordered I had to give them my name and wait on the side for my “food”. Anyway, when my food finally came, the guy says with a big grin “Here ya go Ken, see ya tomorrow!”…
I must say, that really annoyed me. Not because of the undue familiarity or the assumption that I would come back tomorrow, but because he just took it for granted that I wouldn’t be back later this afternoon.
