cubasegundomilenio.com : Nodes | Cuba Segundo Milenio Beware of The Liberal Double Standard!
Had a few names in mind this morning: Allen West, Thomas Sowell, Condoleezza Rice, Michael Steele, Niger Innis, Alan Keyes, Benjamin Carson, Bill Cosby, Deneem Borelli. What do they all have in common? They are all prominent, valuable citizens of our nation and black conservatives. When is it that the deceptively racist liberals are going to finally “get it”?
“People should not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their characters” –Dr. Martin Luther King.
IF WE HAD MORE INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COUNTRY TODAY OF SUCH CALIBER, WE WOULD BE STRONG AND PROUD, PRODUCTIVE AND SELF-SUFFICIENT, RESPECTED BY FRIENDS AND FOES. WAKE UP AMERICA! CHOOSE YOUR LEADERS BASED ON MERIT, NOT ON DEMAGOGUERY.

The following are excerpts taken from an interview Press TV conducted with Dr. Kevin Barrett, who is with the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance from Wisconsin.
"And when it looks like the government of Syria is finally getting a handle on this and chasing out the foreign invaders and being in a position to actually transfer power peacefully and democratically between the Syrian people, not dealing with these outsiders and Imperialists and Zionists, that is the moment when the Israelis choose to come in and start pulverizing Syria with their bombs."
"So, what we are really seeing here is the so called al-Qaeda, which is now so obviously allied to the State of Israel in Syria, has always been allied to the State of Israel and to the extreme radical pro-empire forces in the US."

THREE ARTICLES FOR YOU TO READ, THIS MORNING
The first is a joyous post from Dr. CONDOLEEZZA RICE concerning the 2016 Superbowl. Of course, we don't imagine for a moment that she had anything to do with this decision on the part of the NFL Too bad that the NFL and the players and refs do not utilize Dr. Rice's services as Arbitrator to quickly settle their disputes. When Condoleezza Rice speaks, people listen.
The second is from Dr. THOMAS SOWELL concerning brain-washed grads from liberal universities some of which are considered among "the best schools in the country".
Third. and not the least, is from our perennial Argus, MICHELLE MALKIN, concerning the cronyism and corruption in Obamacare. Read it and weep.
We note that the miserable-looking bugger is now my profile picture. Thanks Facebook. But we are relieved that Dr. Rice does not read my blogs, as that picture of me sitting at the Hammond organ, which was taken a scant few months ago (yeah right), depicts a younger person who would not fit the parameters laid down by her on "The View"- you know the one on which she announced that Stanford had hired her when she was twelve years old. Also I would not want her to believe that yours truly could provide musical support when she plays Carnegie Hall.
Flo Jo Durrant : THE QUESTION IS: Why is Obomba visiting South Africa? Pretty clear to me ...fear - a can of worms has been opened:
Thanks to Salim Vally for this:
"Obama visits SA next month. Worth re-visiting Gary Younge's excellent article on Obama as prisoners continue to be tortured at Gitmo, drones continue killing, Apartheid Israel expands illegal settlements, promises around climate change are ...broken and the poor of the US get poorer. Younge quotes Roy: As Arundhati Roy explained in her essay Do Turkeys Like Thanksgiving, in which she referred to the presidential pardoning of a single turkey during Thanksgiving: "A few carefully bred turkeys … the occasional Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice … are given absolution and a pass to Frying Pan Park. The remaining millions lose their jobs, are evicted from their homes, have their water and electricity connections cut, and die of Aids. Basically, they're for the pot … who can say that turkeys are against Thanksgiving? They participate in it!"
What difference does it make if a few make it through the glass ceiling if millions are still confined to the basement?" 4 hours ago - View -

Marc Japhet : Iraq: 70 murdered in series of Sunni-Shi'ite jihad bomb attacks
"There's still a tendency to see these things in Sunni-Shia terms. But the Middle East is going to have to overcome that." - Condoleezza Rice, January 2007.
Six years later, Washington is even more clueless than it was then.
"Dozens killed by car and suicide bombs in Iraqi cities," from the BBC, May 20:
More than 70 people have been killed and many others injured in a series of bomb attacks across Iraq.
Baghdad was worst hit, with several explosions at bus stations and markets in the mainly Shia Muslim districts.
Attacks also occurred in Samarra, north of the capital, and Basra and Hilla further south.
It is one of the worst days of violence in recent months as Iraq has seen a rise in attacks linked to growing political and sectarian tension.
The bloodshed has raised fears of a re-emergence of the levels of sectarian violence seen in 2006 and 2007.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki vowed to make immediate changes to Iraq's security strategy and told Iraqis that militants "will not be able to return us to the sectarian conflict"
Looks as if the perfume is already out of the bottle, Nouri.
In a separate incident, 10 policemen kidnapped on Saturday in western Anbar province were found dead.... 7 hours ago - View -

High Five The Movement : snopes.com: Condoleezza Rice Shops for Shoes Bigotry at Best-Meet Condoleezza Rice: On Hurricane Katrina:
"I didn't think much about the dire warnings of an approaching hurricane called Katrina. My under secretary for management, Henrietta Fore, was on top of the State Department issues. The State Department had a passport office in New Orleans, and we made backup arrangements for our people in Houston. I attended a Homeland Security principals meeting on Thursday, August 30, and returned to the State Department to check once more on plans for securing our offices in the Gulf of Mexico. Then I flew to New York.
That evening, upon arriving at the Palace Hotel, I flipped on the television. Indeed, the hurricane had hit New Orleans. I called Henrietta, who said that the main issue was making sure our people were safe. She'd also convened a departmental task force because offers of foreign assistance were pouring in. I called Secretary of Homeland Security Mike Chertoff, inquiring if there was anything I could do. "It’s pretty bad," he said. We discussed the question of foreign help briefly, but Mike was clearly in a hurry. He said he'd call if he needed me. I hung up, got dressed, and went to see Spamalot.
The next morning, I went shopping at the Ferragamo shoe store down the block from my hotel, returned to the Palace, and again turned on the television. The airwaves were filled with devastating pictures from New Orleans. And the faces of most of the people in distress were black. I knew right away that I should never have left Washington. I called my chief of staff, Brian Gunderson. "I'm coming home," I said." -Condoleezza Rice
