Cutloose : Daft Punk Update:
1. The album sounds better backwards. 12-1
2. It sounds like a Michael McDonald and Alan Parsons Project album from 1983
3. It's Mature Classic Future Robot Funk.
4. They have done their bangers. It's musically cool
5. Enjoy it for what it is rather than what expectations you had of it.
6. I guarantee if it wasn't released as Daft Punk and some other moniker... Every 'Scene Queen' / Hipster Doofus in the world would be frothing over it and saying it was fresher than the moist towlet they used to wipe there ass with this morn. And calling them the next big thing!
7. They sampled Sherbert haha
8. Chilly Gonzales is amazing check "Ivory Tower"
9. Beyond & Doin' it Right are my favs
10. I like it! 3 hours ago - View -

Raquel Sanders : As I finally lie down for the night, my mind wanders back over the past 18 years of my life and my heart is overwhelmed by how blessed I am that my first born will graduate high school in a few hours. It's been a long, uphill journey but God saw us through some tough times and by his grace and mercy we made it through all of them. I smile and still shake my head when I think about the night I gave birth three months prematurely to that 1lb 3oz. baby and the team of doctors that flooded my room preparing me for the worse.. telling me he wasn't going to make it, and if he did he would be severely handicapped and mentally retarded.. & how my pastor the Rev. Dr. Chester Alan McDonald Sr., politely excused all of them from my room and told them they didn't have the final say, we were going to pray...
When we were done he said
"that boy's gonna be just fine" and to this day D'Angelo has been just that... FINE.
No sicknesses, no disabilities, no trouble, just an all around good kid..
I praise God that my son has made it this far because there are some mothers whose sons didn't make it to the 12th grade.
I congratulate him on the hard work and effort he put in this school year and I'd also like to send a special thank you to Tim Washington for all your help and support during D'Angelo's years at Crossland High School.
